Friern Road Whatsapp group

Hi guys,

Is there a whatsapp group for Friern Road? I have heard other areas have had whatsapp groups created during the last lockdown, was wondering if there is one for this road?

For my road, a couple of the residents took the initiative of setting up a WhatsApp group and then dropping a note through the door of every house in the road giving the details and inviting them to join.

Not everybody did, but they had the opportunity to.

People moving into the road since then were also contacted.

So if nobody has done that in Friern Road, I guess you could always start a group yourself?

I've found ours very useful for sharing information.

ms9 I was a bit bemused by your private message, as I don't live on your road!

I did reply to it but you haven't read my reply, so I'm deleting both messages as I need the space!

I think it relates to the fact that the article is regarding a Friern Road resident who has been jailed for handbag theft after being traced by CCTV.

Was this covered in your Whatsapp group? If not, why not?
