Chris at Aerials Installed has also just helped me. He was great, he came round at very short notice. Diagnosed the problem as involving more than just the aerial. He climbed up on to the roof several times and left me with a fully working TV, excellent picture and channels I didn't know I had. He was very straightforward with me about the problems and is very reasonably priced. Tel: 020 8659 3772.

I would highly recommend Chris (along with several other posts) from Aerials Installed. He came and sorted out a tricky problem for us with our aerial and whole system very fast, very efficiently and at a very reasonable cost. I would certainly give him a call on 02072520867.

Another recommendation for Aerials Installed. They came today and fitted an aerial very neatly in our kitchen via a cupboard, and whilst here sorted out some other cables for us! Very impressed, and they were available at short notice and did the work really quickly.

Chris was at my place today to fit me a new aerial and to also fit my new TV to the wall and remove an unwanted satellite dish. He did a brilliant job which ended up being a much more complicated and longer job than I originally thought. He was more than happy to spend the time getting it right, which I really appreciated.

I can thoroughly recommend Chris.

On Monday 13/05/13, we had problems with our Freesat TV signal. Checked the EDF and found several recommendations for Paul of NUNHEAD AERIALS.I phoned Paul and left a voicemail message, Paul phoned back a couple of hours later and booked a call today between 11:00 and 13:00. Paul arrived at about 12: 15,checked the Freesat box and aerial and diagnosed a cable fault from the aerial. Paul repaired the fault in in about fifteen minutes, checked the system which is now working perfectly.

When completed I asked the cost. I had too ask twice it was so reasonable, so cheap in fact that I paid him double the fee he requested.

If you want the best in aerial installations and repairs, from a very pleasant, friendly and helpful guy, do not hesitate to contact Paul at NUNHEAD AERIALS.

The post is "TV Aerial Person", This I gather is an open post regarding Aerial Installers / Fitters.

The post you mention from Paul at Nunhead Aerials was posted by me, NOT Paul of Nunhead Aerials.

To suggest that Paul of Nunhead aerials posted this is totally untrue, I used Paul at Nunhead Aerials through recommendation on this forum, and glad I did.

I did not realise this post was solely for Chris of aerials installed and may not be used for comments regarding other aerial installers.

ADMIN APOLOGIES FOR MY ERROR.

I can guarantee that I do not have any business, social, or any other connection to Paul at "Nunhead Aerials" other than having used his excellent and extremely reasonable and efficient services.

PS I notice "Dulwich Fox" has also posted on this thread is he also to be reprimanded by Chris for posting on his thread ???

    • Hmmm, millions of animals are killed each year to eat in this country.  10,000 animals (maybe many more) reared to be eaten by exotic pets, dissected by students, experimented on by cosmetic and medical companies.  Why is this any different? Unless you have a vegan lifestyle most of us aren't in a position to judge.  I've not eaten meat for years, try not to buy leather and other animal products as much as possible but don't read every label, and have to live with the fact that for every female chick bred to (unaturally) lay eggs for me to eat, there will be male that is likely top be slaughtered, ditto for the cow/milk machines - again unnatural. I wasn't aware that there was this sort of market, but there must be a demand for it and doubt if it is breaking any sort of law. Happy to be proved wrong on anything and everything.
    • I don't know how spoillable food can be used as evidence in whatever imaginary CSI scenario you are imagining.  And yes, three times. One purchase was me, others were my partner. We don't check in with each other before buying meat. Twice we wrote it off as incidental. But now at three times it seems like a trend.   So the shop will be hearing from me. Though they won't ever see me again that's for sure.  I'd be happy to field any other questions you may have Sue. Your opinion really matters to me.
    • If you thought they were off, would it not have been a good idea to have kept them rather than throwing them away, as evidence for Environmental Health or whoever? Or indeed the shop? And do you mean this is the third time you have bought chicken from the same shop which has been off? Have you told the shop? Why did you buy it again if you have twice previously had chicken from there which was off? Have I misunderstood?
    • I found this post after we just had to throw away £14 of chicken thighs from Dugard in HH, and probably for the 3rd time. They were roasted thoroughly within an hour of purchase. But they came out of the oven smelling very woofy.  We couldn't take a single bite, they were clearly off. Pizza for dinner it is then. Very disappointing.
