A Dog Kennel Hill mystery from the early nineteenth century

This small watercolour dates from c1810.

I've always thought that this view looks towards Camberwell.

In the absence of modern landmarks, and having regard to the idiosyncracies of the colourist, would anyone like to give a second opinion?

What's the title of the painting, is it called 'Dog kennel hill'. That cottage looks familiar, isn't there a cottage/gatehouse like that on the left as you head down Grove Hill Road (with DKH school on your right). This is a really tantalising image, I look forward to somebody nailing it.

Not much information to go on:

"Dog Kennel Hill" on reverse in pencil

Artist did not sign it

c1810 is an estimate

The only clue, apart from the cottage, is the white building in the middle-ground which is possibly the old pre-1844 St Giles, Camberwell, which had a tower but no spire.
