messageRecommendation for a sleep trainer please!
Posted by AnnieT 13 January, 2017 09:04

Hi there,

We have given up with our soon to be 2 year old and would dearly love some professional advice on how to get her sleeping through. If anyone has any recommendations or knows anyone please let me know!

Many thanks!

Get in touch with Nicola Watson at Child Sleep solutions, she saved us when our 2nd child wouldn't sleep, problem fixed within 4 nights, she changed our lives!

Third for Nicola Watson!

I've heard good things about Andrea Grace too if Nicola's waiting list is too long.

Thanks all for the recommendation. can I ask, did you all go for the premium package or did you find the basic one sufficient? I guess much depends on the child's behaviour and your needs etc but still interesting to know. I'm thinking we can just do the basic...

We actually used her twice (same child but two years apart and v different problems). The first time we went for the premium package and it was great. Definitely what we needed and really useful to have the ongoing support throughout the few weeks we were implementing the plan.

The second time, we just felt that we wanted to tweak a few things - we already had a child who generally slept well at this point and I felt like I just needed a bit of guidance as he was much older with a few new challenges. In that case we went for the basic package and it was definitely sufficient because we were already familiar with Nicola's methods.

On both occasions, she was happy to have the consultation before we committed to the package and with the basic package there was potential to 'upgrade' if we felt we needed it.

As you say, it will probably depend on your specific needs but I'm sure nicola would be open to a chat about what's best - and I'm confident she won't just advise the expensive option for the sake of it!

I recommend Judy Clark. She was amazing, our 18 month old boy went from total nightmare to sleeping through in 4 days. It was like a miracle. Was expensive but SO worth it. Her website is www.babywinkz.com

Good luck!

Hi, Annie. We all expect to miss sleep when babies are young, but once they become toddlers most parents would like to start getting them into a healthy sleep routine. A child that sleeps well means the whole family is happier and more energised each day.
I have another vote to Nicola Watson. Also, there are some sleep trainers apps with calm music, natural sounds and white noise for babies.
Besides that, there is smart technology that helps us to sleep well and comfortable.
For example , smart pillow allows for listening to music before sleeping without the use of headphones. And, because of its memory foam,
which repeats the anatomical features of our neck and head during sleep, you and your baby won't have sleeping problem.
