I was having a crafty fag outside the house last night, and saw a guy walking down the street carrying a tree (not a Christmas tree)at about 10pm. Hope no one in Copleston road has suffered a theft - thought about accosting him, but then what proof could I demand that it was, or wasn't his???

When my girlfriend got burgled, the police advised her to trim her bush, and then couldn't understand why she collapsed into a fit of giggles...

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone was having problems with their mail deliveries of late??? Only a fairly recent thing, but in 2010 our deliveries have gone haywire. I am regularly getting mail for upstairs, although it is clearly addressed to the 1st floor flat, and it is becoming somewhat of a ritual to exchange mail with our neighbours at the end of the day! I even got mail for #85 when we are blatantly #83. I have complained to royal mail about this, and was wondering if anyone else is having the same probs, and have also complained. I noticed that down the road someone has posted a laminated sheet on their door politely explaining which flat they are, and where to deliver the mail for other addresses, so I know I'm not alone. Is this a problem elsewhere, or are we just blessed in Copleston road with a monkey for a postie???

HI James, Can something be done to make the guy from the Hifi store just up Lordship lane from the EDT remove his ropes and chains? They are all over the place, and at worst are a danger, and at best a bloody eyesore. I don't even know why he has them - they serve no point at all, except to annoy me everytime I see them. Check them out, they're a disgrace. Thanks, Toby
