  1. And I also have one set of white brackets if you would like them as well
  2. Pair of shelves IKEA Bergshult white, used but in good condition, free to collect East Dulwich.
  3. You are only allowed to pick your top 5 from the whole list and then score those 5. It's an incredibly badly designed survey and very poorly put together! I'd imagine many people will abandon the survey before completing it.
  4. sounds great - does anyone know if there's a limit re kids in the evenings - ie do they have to be out by 7pm? (unlikely we'd be in much past that anyway but would be good to know if there was!)
  5. Ahmed is still around. He was on holiday for a few weeks, think he got back about 2 weeks ago. My husband and son go there for haircuts but we've started to avoid the other guy and wait for Ahmed when they're both working for similar reasons. We're not the only ones either.

  7. Just a warning in case anyone is counting on using it that the car club car on Derwent Grove has been clamped.
  8. Helen Hayes raised this issue at a debate on rail compensation Response from Minister Claire Perry: Commenting on the choice of services withdrawn in teh emergency timetable ?Where there were alternative services where people could actually make an alternative journey on an additional service .. that those were the services that would be withdrawn temporarily in order that 85% of service could run? ?I was not aware that the replacement bus services were just an invitation to take a bus journey so I will take that up because I had reviewed carefully the planning of alternative provision and had been told it was satisfactory?
  9. Now apparently down until tomorrow evening, 3rd time slippage. Wouldn't be so bad if the call centre wasn't so unhelpful.
  10. Apparently virgin fix time now estimated at 2pm, not holding my breath, it's ok though as they have given me ?1.30 in compensation. Off to buy some fizz to celebrate the payout. Awful customer service, and not an isolated incident. Keep meaning to switch providers!
  11. James, are you able to find out what has happened to the traffic phasing at http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,1426742,page=30 - its causing daily traffic tail backs? many thanks
  12. Absolutely right - have been using this route for the past 4 years and it's never been so bad, at 8am tailback to the hospital with no reason ie no roadworks.
  13. Service now completely down, was assured it would be fixed by 5pm, seemed to come back on but then went off around 6.3o with a fix time of 3.40am on thur. Now fix time of 4pm thur.
  14. I'm getting an eyewatering 7mbps on VM for a supposed 50Mb, starting to wonder whether I should send in my online grocery shopping via royal mail.
  15. Hats off to brickhouse for being so open about their plans. I don't think many businesses would share so much info at this stage! You produce a great product - and the project sounds very exciting. Wishing you all the best.
  16. I also had problems last night - have never had so much trouble with a broadband supply.
  17. I must admit I hadn't heard about this before... Thought others may be interested: Redevelopment of existing car park and car wash site to provide a part 3, 4 and 5 storey building comprising 60 residential units (21 x 1-bed, 26 x 2-bed and 13 x 3-bed) with associated landscaping, amenity space and access to basement which provides 30 car parking spaces and 70 cycle parking spaces. The no win no fee claim chasers may start handing out business cards soon ;0) . Could any type of temporary lighting be set up until they are fixed? cheers.
  19. A new planning application has been submitted to Southwark for demolition and building work to convert a house on Derwent Grove into 3 flats - conversions of single dwellings like this is the real reason why parking is so tight - and something a CPZ wouldn't tackle. Hasn't reached planning consultation stage yet, though the scaffolding and skip has appeared already. Can't quite imagine how they will fit 3 flats into one house, certainly isn't room on the road for 3 cars!
  20. If you want to collect the true feeling of the community about parking then why put it on a survey that also asks about who you are going to vote for and whether you would be willing to display political posters or campaign on behalf of the party? This is bound to skew the responses. I'd suggest our Councillors consult the guidelines of the Market Research Society for what is proper opinon research - and not cliam that anything that is sent out primarily as a political marketing tool is a 'survey'. (this is a non-partisan point as most of the parties use this type of tool). Rant over ;0)
  21. Also found the food good - but cringed at the awful practice of automatically adding a service charge. I was happy to pay it but don't feel it should be added automatically on the bill when this was not signposted on the menu.
  22. Sorry to hear about this - I'd advise fixing them onto wheels with cable ties to make it a bit harder to remove - though it does make it harder to change your wheel.
  23. Thanks all for such useful advice. You've encouraged me to give it a go. Now where did I put the bolts for stabilisers.......
  24. baseman2 .. I'm considering cycling to the wharf as well - how's the traffic on the route - is it a daily dice with death? thanks!
