  1. Me too - my OH has Jambalaya in the fridge..and an instruction manual for the kids. Not a bad night's sleep (up for 2 hours in the early hours watching Outnumbered and feeding littlest though - oops). So it's all go!! See you all there... (Now where's those clean clothes? Ah...I know...nowhere!)
  2. Oh good luck and fingers crossed Molly.. Nightmare elections!!! Grrr.
  3. Of course - see you there.
  4. Not sure - I just think he looks like he hasa nice body. Ooh - I sound like a perv now. littleEDfamily Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > What's your vision of Lead ZingZilla? What do you > reckon lurks beneath??? Just trying to get a > visual.... >
  5. I'm watching Zingzillas right now - is it weird to think that the lead singer monkey is quite fit (underneath the costume obv.)? Someone's going to tell me it's Keith Chegwin or something now aren't they?
  6. Yey - this sounds like it'll be quite an evening. I'm embarrassed to say that this is my first night out since our youngest daughter was born (now 16 weeks!). I'll be the one asleep in her glass of white - ala Alice's dormouse! Not being used to the pace of course - not the company!! :)-D
  7. Ok - I've booked an area in the conservatory at the Plough (a few tables) for 8pm next Friday. I've gone for between 20 and 25 peeps in case more want to join us. Otherwise we'll all have to eat and drink lots methinks. Ho hum...(she says with her arm half-nelsoned behind her back!).
  8. I love Timmy Time and 64 Zoo Lane (although I much preferred 64 when it was just before bedtime!). The TV tends to 'break down' when In the Night Garden or the Teletubbies is on - I can't stand the brain addling-ness. Another Mummy confession - oops. :-$
  9. The Plough is totally fine with me...anyone else? Did you book a table last time? Sorry I forgot what was said. If so I'll book for..what? About 20?
  10. Weird - I was thinking about doing this only yesterday (our eldest is obsessed with boiled eggs). We have loads of foxes around us though (and back onto Camberwell Cemetery). How would you keep them safe...if you can?
  11. We ended up going to Howletts and it was fab - so much less busy/cramped than London Zoo. I'm thinking of organising a camping-out third birthday party at Port Lympne for our eldest daughter in July. Has anyone done that and have any advice/thoughts?
  12. I know I can probably Google the answer to this...but.. Can anyone recommend a good zoo or Safari Park within an hour (1.5 hours) max from SE22? We're going to go to London Zoo today I think and we've been to Battersea Zoo plenty. Has anyone been to Howletts or Port Lympne and has anyone advice on what's easier to manage: - One parent plus one toddler and one baby at a Safari Park (mostly in the car)? - One parent plus same kids in a zoo (mostly running amock)? All help/advice gratefully received !
  13. The more the merrier CDevi :)-D See you there..
  14. How old are they? If you want to wear them out then Dulwich woods is beautiful - lots of things in bud. Otherwise there's lots of kiddy films on at Surrey Quays - if you can get them to stay still that long. Just a couple of thoughts...
  15. No probs Mr. Ben. I'm only just over your threshold and am obviously a little sensitive about it ;-) As for 'traditional media' I'm getting slightly narked with the amount of literature and doorstepping at our house. We've had at least three pieces of propaganda from each party (some really posh stuff too!) and visits from the world and his dog - on bank holidays too! Sorry Admin - I'm straying off topic. Rant over x
  16. Why 'under 35'? Feeling v old now...:'(
  17. I didn't get any BNP ones but a couple of UKIP ones got in there. I chose five areas and am hung UKIP/Tory with a Green side order. Ewww - wish I hadn't done it now. I have to say I mostly went for the more 'plain English' mani-promises. I got bored with the convoluted hyperbole/gobbledygook of some of them. So there may be policies that I'd prefer but that I couldn't be bothered to get my head round. Oh dear - in many ways.:-$
  18. Seriously? There's a guy works down the chip shop, name of Elvis?
  19. Our eldest daughter has evidently watched too much Peppa Pig - I'm Mummy Pig, my husband is Daddy Pig, my Dad is Grandpa Pig. The only one who seems to have escaped this is my Dad's girlfriend Jan. We were trying to encourage 'Nan Jan' but so far it's 'Jam Jam'. There's also an imaginary Doctor Brown Bear who we have to call for advice (actually NHS direct!) when our daughter is ill or hurts herself! Not sure whether to be worried about old square eyes here or not :-S
  20. And with me - would that be ok SB? And for another time - I'd like to take a butcher's at the Florence. A baby room in a pub is seriously pressing my slummy mummy buttons!
  21. Hi Belle - it's either the higher handle or that the handle sticks out further from the chassis but the Vibe and Dash prevent my husband from doing what SteveT describes. He can stride out behind the Vibe and Dash models without kicking bottom child in the head. As for any other pros - I haven't a clue. This is the only one he particularly cares about ;-)
  22. What's it like - do you have any photos?
  23. I like the Actress - you can have lots of 'Carry On - f'nah, f'nah' moments. ..and pictures in the loos (possibly on the toilet rolls, right?).
  24. For a double buggy my OH is after a Phil and Teds 'Vibe' or 'Dash'. The other P&T models see him kicking the lower child in the head as he strides out. The Vibe and Dash are much better for taller (or more lanky) people..wethinks.
  25. Our eldest is: Madame (most used) Monkey face Monster munch (must be an 'M' thing) Our littlest is currently 'Sweet Pea' (I'm hoping to plant loads in the garden to show her when she's older). I'll have to work on some more for 'the littlest Hobo' once her character develops...
