Which is also why I am very surprised a councillor has to do an FOI request to get this information.

I've just bought the Moto G5 Plus (now made by Lenovo). Apart from the fact that it doesn't have a compass, it has everything else, including fingerprint detection, is really fast, the battery lasts 2 days under fairly heavy use and it set me back about ?230. If it's not wanted by muggers, then that is a major bonus.
  3. It depends on the site you want to upload to, but (assuming you are on Windows) the best way is to save the photo to your desktop or documents folder and then use the site's upload function, which usually has a 'Browse' button that allows you to select the photo.
  4. 50p? Ouch. Go onto Amazon or other online suppliers and you can get them for 5-7p a bag.

Ah, the Daily Mash strikes again... How are you pretending Brexit is still a good idea? http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/features/how-are-you-pretending-brexit-is-still-a-good-idea-20170810133830

  10. Someone is being in bad form here - and I don't know if it is moondancer or natty. Do you have information we don't have, moondancer?

You're > better than that comment. But that example is completely different. Of course, like any crime, there are differing grades and nuances: no question. But your first post? Well OK, 'justified racism' was harsh, but in some bizarre piece of irony you did try to differentiate racism based only on race/skin colour. Maybe you did it as some sort of reaction to UG himself, and maybe you would have written something more thoughtful had someone different made a similar point, but it didn't come over well, especially in the context of the article in question.

But they aren't, > so it isn't. You do realise you just tried to justify racism? I've never understood how this terrible attempt argument ever took hold, but it is not uncommon. You are either against racism or you are not. You can't only be against 'some' racism. That would just be racist in itself.
  13. Having read the 'explanation', it seems that is exactly what he meant. His third paragraph rather destroys his own argument. Of course, it would have been better had there been a link to the original text.
  14. I thought I once passed a restaurant called Lahore House, but Google seems to think it doesn't exist, which is a shame.

I think the Indy has started to go all Gruniad. Not sure how this got past the subs: "The survey is likely to add to the anger of younger people at the referendum result and the fallout. Only over-50s voted for Brexit last year."
  23. Or maybe your rubbish is a bit, well, rubbish.

You might have noticed that on each post, the name of the poster (including your own) is a link. That takes you to a small page for your username, where there is another link - in your case, "View all posts by Ronnijade". There you can see all your posts in reverse chronological order and which section they are in. It's much faster than writing snottygrams to admin. Mind you, I would have thought this thread itself should have been lounged by now. :))
  25. I think it has been - they seem (and time will tell on this) to have finally found someone who can control the chaos that has reigned for the past six months. Whether he can control Trump will be the acid test.
