  1. Well, then... if you've got dog breath then vote Yes to FPTP...
  2. Facetious? Moi? :)
  3. "FPTP Depresses Cats". Brilliant. :))

  5. Sounds like it depends where you moved to, LiLi23. But, for us, it's paper/cardboard in the Blue Bag, and glass on one side of the divide in the blue box and cans/plastic in the other.
  6. a) What the hell is going on at the football club tonight, and, b) Where do you think I'd like to shove the drum that somebody is incessantly hitting over there?
  7. I must admit I have cringed at some of the ludicrous statements made by the Yes camp. Honestly, FPTP is such an easy target but they have to make it look difficult. Mind you, at least they haven't gone for the blatant, bare-faced lying that the No to AV camp have indulged in.
  8. Packard Bell is a PC World own-brand. They make a much better margin on it, so the sales staff tend to push them.

  10. It's PC gone mad, I tell you. I've been to that store - I'm surprised you actually found anyone to give you poor customer service. People on the ground in there were extremely well hidden. It was a bit like Python's 'How Not To Be Seen'. Besides, anyone that steps into PC World without a little bit of computer knowledge is asking for it. Unless you need it right now, then Amazon and Dabs are your best bets.

Well, Welsh Rarebit was hardly on the menu, was it.
  13. I bet you are loads of fun at a funeral.

  15. I think both the head and the governor should, for the good of the school, stand down. Their actions of both of them, inadvertently or otherwise, have brought the school into disrepute. Neither can retain their position. A fresh start is needed.

I reckon this is about the point Admin steps in...
  17. I've never understood the reasoning behind the "why do we give overseas aid - charity begins at home" argument. In that case, home is London - why bother worrying about the poor in Manchester, Birmingham, Wales and the like. Where do you draw the line? Plus that fact that overseas poverty is 'real' poverty. None of this 'relative poverty' stuff.

An example. My other half was offered a new job and was happy with the money offered and had nearly accepted when she decided to ask me for a second opinion. I explained that, given the different terms and conditions (less holiday, different pension) she was actually accepting a pay cut, nevermind getting a bit of a raise out of changing jobs. A day or so of phone negotiations and she had the offer raised by a significant amount.
  19. Ring up Southwark and get a second box. No divider needed then.

There's been a lot of criticism of Imogen. She's certainly got her knockers.

    A 'gagging' order? Close... :))
  23. Oh, hang on. Found it. 'Labour's official spokesman branded his remarks as "sexist, insulting and patronising".' I suppose that makes him the Tories version of Harriet Harman, then.
  24. Link? what are you talking about? Is Cameron appearing in the next eSure ad alongside Michael Winner?
  25. Yeah, something modern. Like this... http://img.alibaba.com/photo/247676678/Sexy_Wedding_Dresses.jpg
