Serious question: when gays or lesbians go out on a first date, who pays?

Yeah, ratty. I had to walk a whole massive 30m to get that parcel to you. Mind you, I did get to meet your charming Florence-from-the Machine lookalike wife. -

I think it's a joke lost on the Brits.. Should've been Mrs Palmer anyways, though in these enlightened times, who knows. -

Though I think it's a bit mean when they object (loudly) to me putting my head in between them and going 'wubba wubba wubba'. Spoilsports.

In my experience, people who say things like beautyofthebeholder are usually the most outrageous hypocrites...

I wouldn't let anyone smelling of dog poo into my home, Rosie.

Amnesty and their Communication gaffe

I'm not a big fan of AI anyway. They lost their way and their focus many years ago. -
Ok, I'm feeding the troll here, but it's Friday... Do you mean like using drinking water for flushing your toilet, whilst a lot of the world goes thirsty? Or by throwing away a large percentage of perfectly good food whilst a lot of the world goes hungry? Relatively, this whole country is, in world terms, that ostentatious person you hate.

That's > what I read anyway. Whilst I can (sort of) understand the bombing of Hiroshima, I've always considered Nagasaki to be the vilest science experiment in history. Why not give the Japanese more time to surrender once they understood the devastation of Nagasaki? Why use a different type of bomb, when you know the first type works? Unless the purpose was actually to test, compare and contrast?

And for cats that live in houses they bury as the deem the humans to be 'top cat', so to speak. But, once they get into unclaimed turf it is territory marking time. (I've posted this before, but hey...) I once had a local cat make a permanent lounging area on one of my fence posts. To deter it, I stuck some of those anti-cat pellets to the post. The cat, in order to remark it's territory, crapped on top of the post. I don't have a clue how it managed this without falling off. Had a sneaking respect for the little bugger after that, though not enough to stop me putting the hose on it at every possible opportunity.

Ugh. Prosecco is usually too sweetish for me. For cheap fizz, I'll have a nice Cava, ta.

Not sure this beats the complete ineptitude of the window cleaning fellow standing in dog poo, but it's a fine attempt nevertheless. -
Salvation Army Training College, Champion Park

Dunno, but every time I pass it on a bus I do wonder how much training a Salvo needs to warrant such a huge (but lovely) building. -
If the base rate is 0.5% Why is my mortgage 5.9%???
Loz replied to garden man's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Actually DJKQ, that's always been the way. People like you and I make little profit for the banks, but they put up with us it increases the ubiquitousness of the card. People who pay the minimum monthly amount is where the money is. Ratchet up the limit, the more profit. This has to be balanced out with the number of defaulters. Complete defaulters are relatively rare and credit scores mean that the 'mistake' is not made twice. It's evil, but people swarm to it like lemmings.
