  1. The same here with my 4 year old: temperature and awful cough. We even ended up in A&E on Saturday because she suffers from asthma and this kind of bugs only make it worse... She won't be going back to school tomorrow.
  2. I'm a patient at Forest Hill Rd and have always been able to get an appt for the same day when I phone them early and tell them it's my 4 year old who is poorly. Or the duty doctor always calls me back in 1 hour, telling me what to do. I'm happy with them.
  3. Hi, catg! Have you tried the link on the goosegreenpta post above? It's working for me here.
  4. I bought some from Milk&More, but not sure if whole or semi-skimmed. Check their website: milkandmore
  5. Thanks for your suggestions! Thinking about Paris or Barcelona. Do you know of any good/cheap/child friendly hotels?
  6. Looking for a child friendly city break in Europe for February half term. Two or three days, daughter is nearly 5yo. Any suggestions?
  7. We took the potty everywhere! And got her a book and nice stickers. It was done in the summer, though. Good luck, it seems messy but it's doable, so don't despair!
  8. In the other thread (General ED issues/gossip) they say she's safe at home now.
  9. Beautiful! Thanks, Fuschia!
  10. Lots of fluids (water, diluted juice)and steam (i.e. from shower or warm mist humidifier) to ease the mucus. It worked when my daughter was around this age.
  11. I don't have boys, still the link is interesting. Does anyone know of something similar for parents of girls?
  12. Just be careful with the Vicky Vapour Rub as it can trigger asthma attacks, if he is prone to it.
  13. Tree Day - Centre for Wildlife Garden,Marsden Road. - Sunday, 4th
  14. Goose Green - Friday, 9th December, between 3:30 and 5.
  15. Just be careful with the tea tree oil if your child suffers from asthma, as it can trigger an attack.
  16. In my experience, sometimes the health visitor is not right... Also, I've heard from a dentist (in my home country) that the discolouration occurs when kids get their permanent teeth(i.e. not the milk teeth).
  17. Speak to your doctor as soon as possible.
  18. When we bought an oil filled radiator there was an instruction to turn it on its highest temperature for X number of hours (can't remember) before starting using it. It smelled really oily, stayed away from it, but it worked. Now it doesn't smell anymore.
  19. I would also like to know of any Halloween parties in/around East Dulwich for my 4 year old.
  20. It's happened here too... I tried the next size up and also a different nappy, Pampers Day and Night (or something like that). It worked for us. Good luck!
