  1. I need to undertake this course and wondered if anyone had recommendations of where to do it in London at all? Or places to avoid. I'd like to do the foundation and practitioner. Thanks!
  2. I'm guessing thats a no then - anyone know of anything similar in the area?
  3. Hello All, Is this still taking place? and dare I ask, who are you?! ;) What type of people - younger/older/mix? My Mum is looking for something like this and has been for a good while, she's in the 60-70 age bracket :) just so I can tell her a little more! Thanks x
  4. Trying to find something to buy for my parents (60ish) for their Christmas present. Something that will get them out and about in Dulwich or the surrounding areas and wondered if anyone had clever ideas? I've considered Picturehouse membership, Dulwich Picture House membership etc - could be regular or could be a one off event/thing to do or to try!
  5. http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/thebigfinish Fab options here - all price entry points.
  6. http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/thebigfinish Great ideas here to support Herne Hill Velodrome.
  7. Hi All, I'd like some art of the local ish area - Crystal Palace down to Dulwich/Peckham Rye area. I have a few from things like Places in Print but am sure there must be more out there that I haven't spotted - any recommendations? Thanks!
  8. We used these guys for a job recently, very happy and based in Crystal Palace so you can easily pop in and see them. http://www.fireplacerestoration.co.uk/index.html
  9. I'd go Sydenham without a shout! Its turning around very quickly indeed following the over-grounds arrival which means fast trains to almost anywhere in town. Bobs Wines, Gurkha, The Dolphin pub, the best Italian in London (according to TripAdvisor), CP park, Mayow Park, good transport both in and out of the city (out to East Croydon etc) wider roads, good schools (state and private) are just to name a few of the attractions in my opinion! Shame you just missed this: http://sydenhamarts.co.uk/
  10. Me again - just keeping you posted on this! We have just done our garden with the Easigrass and now have some spare if you are interested - and a gardener who can lay it all for you! I have 2.5m x 4m2 of the Chelsea variety for a cost. Do let me know if interested - we are very impressed with the grass and our gardener. Anna
  11. Sooo many gardener recommendations on here at the moment but I don't seem to be able to find one who has experience of laying 'easigrass' - anyone out there? If not Easigrass specifically, any other fake grass? Thanks xx
  12. Watching this with interest - I am looking for someone to lay a small amount of 'easigrass' for me. Anyone with experience?
  13. Thanks Sanity girl - I've tried this but due to the rubber being the seal it on the gap that doesn't get wet during the cycle if that makes sense? I was hoping someone would have an old wives tale I guess involving frogs legs and snails and rose petals or something!
