  1. I'm a cafe owner. Our weekday business is bolstered by the laptop folks, and we simply don't see them at weekends, when we are busier. Also, many drink tea and coffee all day and often have two meals during thier stay. Myself, I like EDT when I laptop squat.

  4. So, all of the above?

  6. And how does one EDF-er spot another F-er? Goofy teeth and glasses? Hunched shoulders? Quiet sobbing into a drink?

  9. Me, perhaps. What time are people turning up, as I may only be able to pop in for a bit early on?
  10. Get youself on a trip to... Oh, wrong thread...
  11. The rot shop does appear to be a male preserve. Perhaps not so with the courgette, mind.

  13. Got to wonder how you came across that.

This may be of interest, for remote hugging: http://www.cutecircuit.com/projects/wearables/thehugshirt Oh, and let me save the oddballs the trouble, coz it's all out there anyway... http://www.facebook.com/#/profile.php?ref=name&id=515658688
  15. Anyway, none of this is the point of the thread - I'm attempting to identify the bikers, as meet ups and ride-outs can be fun, and the winters here, though cold, are generally dry and good for runs.
  16. No, the roof ones are ghey, just wrong, very wrong. At least I sort of get the three wheeled jobs, esp with all the mulch on the roads right now. That will pass, though, and you're then just left with your slightly pointless, fairy tri-knobbervagen.

  18. I think I know what you're driving at, and the best place for you to be is here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&f=74&mid=14015 where you shall find reasoned debate by experienced and generally well balanced people. All things are relative, and to be honest I don't actually see many nurtured, gleaming supersports or litre sports bikes in and around London compared to the surrounds. As it happens, though, my Daytona is a supersport "600" and is fantastic for getting about london due to the torque delivery in traffic and its extremely narrow profile. I know of a few other guys who choose to commute into and through london on similar sports bikes for just these reasons. Additionally, not everyone can afford to have a fun sportier bike for the weekend, etc, and one more suited to pootling round town for their commute. The same goes for the weekenders. On another note, almost every car you see on the road can go at 100mph, and plenty to 150mph, but they have to stop at the same lights, too. Oh, and my commute is 50 minutes with 20 sets of lights which are typically green. I know this isn't aimed at me, but at a small percentage. Saying that, though, I may well be one of the very people you rail against, as I don't hang about.
  19. Well, the most important thing about a helmet is fit, so if the Roof really is the only good fit, then it's ok. Otherwise, yes, nonsense, like those Momo Fighter things - you know the ones.
  20. *Bob*, what's bugging you? All weather rider - CHECK 50k miles plus in many countries - CHECK Two bikes regarded as best for what they do - CHECK Tinted pinloc insert - CHECK Shoei XR-1000 - CHECK Rukka/HG/A-stars kit - CHECK Organises trips round Europe - CHECK Now, step back. Perhaps trips around europe with luggage, perhaps trips to Brands Hatch, to go on track, or perhaps it is just to zip from lights to lights. What's your point, caller?
