  1. This is the second time I?ve used aria and can?t praise him enough. I was abroad when my tenants boiler broke down but he turned up on the same day and fixed the problem. Saved me a lot of stress as I was able to pay online. Would definitely reccommend
  2. I can?t thank Aria enough, this is the second time I?ve used him and have been happy with both. I was abroad and got a message from my tennant to say her boiler wasn?t working, Aria wasn?t ?around the corner? as quoted in another unfair thread when I called but made the effort to turn up later that day. It was freezing and my tennant had no hot water. The boiler was fixed and I paid online later than I shoujd have done due to a family emergency. I will certainly use him again
  3. I just wanted to add a glowing recommendation for Myles and his team at Linked Electrical. Recently installed new emergency lighting and HMO standard fire alarms plus a new RCD unit for us for our rental property. Great service and kept things very clean and tidy. 02072062383
  4. Evening everyone I'm trying to gauge whether there would be any interest in guided relaxation classes for mums to be in the area. The classes would be fairly intimate with maybe 4-6 people, would last around 45 minutes and would focus on progressive muscle relaxation and guided imagery to help reduce stress and increase comfort. Relaxation during pregnancy is both safe and effective, and can have lots of benefits for mums to be. Does this sound like something you might be interested in? Please let me know, either by replying to this post or messaging me privately. Leah
  5. Katherine Graves Hypnobirthing Book - awesome regardless of what type of birth you have! Congratulations by the way - I had my baby a month ago and am already broody for another!
  6. Another recommendation for Richard - he came round, gave us a fair quote and an estimated time frame for the work (tidying our awfully bumpy walls in bedroom and repainting). Stuck to the quote and time estimate and gave us his honest opinion on some aspects of the work. Would definitely recommend his work and hoping to have him back for the spare bedroom too!
  7. Thanks all for suggestions/recommendations. Gatt I was advised to start as soon as possible - ideally from 20 weeks - as it gives you longer to practise and embed the techniques
  8. Hi all, I'm due 11th August with my first & would love to meet others also having their babies! Will PM my number.
  9. I asked around and have heard mixed reviews about Hollie De Cruz - friends who saw her commented that she would cancel sessions and then be a bit awkward when trying to reschedule... Any recommendations for Lizzie Hammond? Thanks everyone
  10. Hi all, could anyone recommend a local hypnobirthing course? Thanks in advance
  11. Thanks for the suggestions :) the plough was already booked for the date she wants so will try grand Union!
  12. Will look into it, thanks so much. Was thinking a pub type place might work best.
  13. I'm hosting my best friend's baby shower but can't decide whether to have at home or somewhere else! Has anyone got any recommendations for a venue that may have room for up to 15 people? I've got games etc so want the option of being able to decorate too. Any suggestions appreciated!
  14. Parcel has been delivered to me by mistake - please PM me. Will expect to see ID/proof of address
  15. Another recommendation for Gokay. I've been training with him for about a year now and he's just the best! Exercising has never been my strong point but he helps to keep me motivated & I love noticing that I can do things I would never have been able to do. He keeps things varied so no two weeks are the same & tailors the sessions to your goals. His number is 07872 486 891.
  16. My friend Lisa and I would like to join too - see you there 3.30pm. Leah
  17. Our cat Mr Tickles hasn't been home since Saturday - he is a very fluffy ginger cat, 4 years old, won't wear a collar but is microchipped. Missing around the Grove Vale area, please let me know if you see him. Thanks
  18. 10 of us celebrated my husband's birthday there not last Friday but the Friday before - Chloe and the other 2 girls are lovely, food was amazing and atmosphere great. So many people have great things to say about this place (we went on recommendation), it's worth giving it a go before you slate it IMO - for whatever reason.
  19. He's just walked in with our cat (big fluffy ginger one - they hang out together quite a bit) & won't leave, in case you're looking for him!
  20. Another recommendation for Gokay. I started training with him in January for my wedding which took place last week (there are even videos of me on his website! http://www.yourlocalpersonaltrainer.co.uk/training-videos/4588444217, I'm the 3rd video down)He's so friendly, professional and easy going and works to your level, knows when to push you and when to slow down. If, like me, you were apprehensive about getting a personal trainer - don't be! If you have MyFitnessPal he'll even check on what you're eating and advise where you're going wrong... Happy for people to contact me - also happy to send my before and after photos..! Leah
  21. Hi guys, my friend Tamsin Clarke is putting on her play at the Rosemary Branch Theatre (very near Haggerston Overground). She is an East Dulwicher but spends a lot of time cruising England's canals on her boat. I'm biased, but the play is pretty amazing and has won loads of awards... check it out. 22. Could anyone recommend someone to fit a microchip cat flap into an aluminium wraparound door (although the cat flat would be fitted in to a glass pane? We've had quotes upwards of ?550..! I was wondering if it might be cheaper to get a new timber door (although don't know if that can be done on an aluminium frame?) and have the cat flap fitted in to that? Any advice would be most welcome, thanks.
  23. I have just come home from an amazing facial at Beauty Haven, can't believe I haven't come across this gem of a place before. Beautiful treatment room, lovely low lights & relaxing music. Liz is lovely & sent me home with some good skin advice & dermalogica testers. The website is www.thebeautyhavendulwich.co.uk, have a look, her prices are really reasonable. My boyfriend had a massage there this afternoon too - V Day treat to both of us from me - and he said it was really great. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
