  1. So much to do, so little time ....
  2. Don't let's turn this thread into a discussion on homoeopathy, there's one on the forum somewhere already, wish I'd never posted about the NFWS remedy now :)) Perhaps you should put your points to the NFWS, however, if you think they are supplying ineffective remedies for foxes, despite being an organisation set up to help them.

  4. Wonder how those people who mock homoeopathy can explain how it works on foxes? It can hardly be a placebo effect when the foxes presumably don't know they are being treated.
  5. Maybe over-crowded because people like it and want to go there? It's a very small place, so I'm not sure how else it could be "set up"? I tried to arrange a family meal there, they wouldn't take a booking for an evening meal because they said it wouldn't be fair on other people to have a big party (as in numbers of people). I thought that was quite refreshing. Some places would just have taken the money. Each to their own, I guess. I think it's cosy and friendly and I like the food.
  6. Thanks. Was the issue re deliveries to the Palmerston resolved?

What was it?
  8. Was the North Cross Road Sunday market issue discussed?
  9. Your namesake, apparently :)

Alan Medic, cats go out. Of cat flaps. Hardly the neighbours fault if Crunchy went missing, unless they somehow let her out a different way.
  11. Thanks, yes that would explain it. Glad it was nothing more serious.
  12. Doubt it, not with six police vans. Oh well, probably I'll never know.
  13. Sorry :)
  14. Really? That's bonkers. I thought it was just the food waste recycling which differed ie some people can recycle and some can't.
  15. Yeh, yeh :))
  16. Half a dozen police vans between the bus garage and Medlar Street, loads of police and people about. Anybody know why?
  17. Is it to do with pollination? I believe pear trees need to be pollinated by a suitable partner to bear fruit? Google :)
  18. Yes re bags and boxes thrown onto plants. Yes re getting other people's bins. But you don't have to sort it any more, cans and glass go in together, so no need for a divider.
  19. Sadly I shan't be able to go, as I have another meeting.
  20. A leaflet put through my door about this meeting says that amongst the items for discussion is "Traffic management - North Cross Road Sunday market". I was under the impression that there was not now going to be a market in North Cross Road on Sundays. Has the situation changed?
  21. Cat heaven :)
  22. Or Sam Smith? :)

  24. Thanks tiddles, breath of fresh air and yes, I've had my two (or three) glasses too.
