    frogs

When I was in primary school, we all got to bring home some frog spawn for the educational value of watching it turn into frogs. One leg, two legs, etc, soon sure enough I had a tank full of little frogs. Maybe a centimetre long each? I got home from school one day and - no tank, no frogs. My mother had decided it was time to set them free. Sadly we lived in a block of flats on a (very) main road. King's Avenue, Clapham Park. She'd just decanted them onto the pavement. I can't imagine many of them made it as far as the common. :-S And then there was the time she ..... no, enough, been there, done that, had the therapy :))
