Hi I?m hoping someone can help please? I?ve been looking at pressure cleaners for our garden - and it?s quite a big area, both back and front. The Karcher K4 seemed to hit the spec apart from the hose length which is only 6 meters. I can see you can get extension hoses but they are pricey, largest I could see was 20 m. Our back garden extends to 150 ft (it?s shared garden). I saw a karcher hose on a reel (25 m) which was less expensive, and the reviews ?only? said that it could be attached to a pressure cleaner - but the spec doesn?t confirm that (I don?t think so anyway). Do you think an ordinary garden hose could be connected? I?ve got two (one for front and back of building which are the correct size in terms of the reach I need with the cleaner)? They are not sturdy big hoses - given the length of the garden I had to get a lightweight ones - so I wasn?t carrying the weight all the time. Normally we get someone in to clean our paths and walls etc., but I?m happy to be hands on and see this as an investment - but at the same time don?t want to be spending lots of the other leaseholders money incorrectly/unwisely. Thanks for any help :)

Does anyone know anything about the new houses built on Dunstans Road, near forest hill road? They are built ages but it remains like a building site. Are they ever to go on the market?

I love them too - we get lots of visits - and they are so pretty and vibrant. Happily send them our way!!

I thought the same Bobbsy - I had originally thought they had put in an additional light or something similar. They are very very bright!! -

I worry about this, people ask me about how much my dog was and I say the dog was a present! I have had cars pull up and one lady saw me on one road as she was driving, and actually stopped the car on another road to ask me about my dog. She seemed friendly and admitted she had driven around to speak to me, but I?m super cautious all the time!! I?d not know how to cope if anything happened to my dog!! :(. I think sometimes you can tell if people are just nattering, but not always!!!

Squirrels are always at my flowers, plants, fruit and veg out the back! I see something grow, admire, gone... birds too on the fruit etc.. :) But if someone stole things, I?d be gutted!! So I?m sorry to hear that!!

I always use Forest Hill too, rarely if ever, use East Dulwich station. FH has good options...

There is also a direct train from Norwood Junction, it has more stops but at least you?ll get a seat. You can get a train from Forest Hill to Norwood junction but have to time it right, otherwise you could miss train by one minute.

Since reading the post, I?ve looked again at getting hedgehogs (not as pets), and the idea of opening gardens for them is great. My friend said you can get hedgehog houses, so am going to try that in our garden, and see what happens. It be amazing to have them and feed them if needs be! I must say this year we have less slugs and snails, so as we are near Woodvale, perhaps they are in the area unbeknownst to us :)

Garden collections (pre June)
muffins78 replied to wee quinnie's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Are the stickers not been sent out then? I was watching for them in the post. Will the council still collect or give us additional bags while we wait? Our brown bins get filled every week. -
Hi - I hope someone can help? I use Addison Lee as it is pet friendly and zero complaints - for journeys to Euston with pets and luggage. However coming back to Dulwich I?ve to get a black cab outside Euston - it?s much easier but way more expensive. ?45 versus about ?20/25. Does anyone know of a black cab company who?d be of a similar pricing eg ?25 from Dulwich to Euston. I need to book a cab for this week :). Thank you :)

I had the same problem waiting for P13 today - but I popped out a little while ago and a p13 turned in to Underhill coming the West Dulwich direction so it might be back in action :) -
Hi - someone has signed for a delivery for Joe and we don?t know which courier dropped the parcel to ours. If anyone knows him, can they please put him in touch? Edited to day I?ve found him :)

What's happened to Townley Dental?
muffins78 replied to zebedee's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I had to go there for an emergency appointment on Friday and it had change ownership last Monday. I don?t know if they still do NHS but they had all my records from years ago. The dentist was lovely and the receptionist Margaret is still there :) I hope that helps somewhat! -

Surveyor wanted to determine Building Reinstatement Value

We?ve used Jon Peck for this and other similar matters after seeing his recommendations on here. I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend him. -
Beatrice - that?s absolutely no problem after Christmas - and you don?t need to bring any gesture of thanks. I?ll text you but you probably don?t want to sharing your number on the forum :)

Oh gosh - the heat is melting when on high - so yes very happy with it! They?ve a huge range and I can?t remember which one I went with! I?ll find the paperwork! But they?ll walk you through the options - but be prepared - I didn?t realise there were so many! As I said before - they are really helpful and will guide you properly!! Bring some photos and measurements of your current fireplace- if you do decide to go ahead with them - they?ll survey your property based on suitability for whichever fires you may wish to go for!!

Ive just had a fireplace and gas fire installed - and I don?t have any hesitation regarding Kent Fireplaces - based in Shortlands. They were recommended to me - I didn?t even shop around - end to end the help and service was brilliant. I later found out that some of my colleagues have used them also!! Enjoy getting it done :)

Hi Claire Did you happen to find anyone that you?d recommend? I?m looking to do a small kitchen floor. Thank you
