  1. You could try Barrys on Barry Rd the bottom near Peckham Rye end but I don't think it is open on Sundays or Mondays.
  2. Hello jj1, You have to decide what route you want to take regarding schooling because if you take the state primary schools and nothing wrong with them, then the choice will be limited regarding RC secondary schools, you have to have attended a RC primary school and they ask for references from the priest for church attendence etc. St Anthony's is a very good school they have just or very near to finishing work on extending the school from a 1+1/2 form entry to a 2 form entry. And don't assume when you apply the catchment area will be 2km the closer you live to the school and the priest's reference all play its part. Heber school has a good reputation and like secondary schools you have to apply to more than one school just incase you don't get your 1st choice, so you can put both down if you are living within both catchment areas. Look at the bigger picture what secondary school are you looking at because without the RC primary school education most RC secondary schools won't even look at your application. Good luck
  3. Why don't you try a different church I never heard of the church being booked up until october unless you want a baptism with no one else being baptised. Baptismism does matter alot if you want your child to go to a good Catholic secondary school.

  11. The bites could be from a Blandford Fly, originated from Blandford in Dorset. A few years ago my husband got bitten in the garden, had a bad reaction went to the doctors and was given a course of antibiotics. He was told about the Blandford Fly, at the time there was an article in the newspaper about people being bitten and having bad allergic reactions. Dolly

  14. If it's the house opposite the Actress pub then that house belongs to the police, I think it was the the police station before the new one was built on Lordship Lane, if it's the house further down the road on the corner of Acre Drive where new houses were built several years ago, that house was all part of the site of Coventry scaffolding but they moved to a site near Sainsbury's super centre at Sydenham, Whether they still own the house or not I don't know.
  15. Hello triard, Someone mentioned Barclays was where Midland bank once was.
