That's very true - I'm glad to hear they caught the guy who did that - I hope they make him stand in front of the Reeves family in court one day and look them in the eye, it's been there for 100 years+ in their family, they are totally destroyed.

It's about the right age group - they've probably made some arrests for the looting in Peckham! The skate park is behind there - so not totally beyond reality as I heard the youngest kids to be caught and be in court today was 11 yrs old..

Only in east dulwich would an organic butchers feel the need to board up their shop today! What are they going to loot- pork chops? Really? I'm biased being a Veggi- but something tells me the ave East dulwich resident won't suddenly rise up in protest at the long queues they choose to endure every week like the communist times - and the ave hoodie nutter is not going to prioritise organically produced grouse on their looting shopping list whilst surely knowing there is no cash left overnight. Meanwhile Mrs Robinson with some really lovely vv expensive goods is totally on display on a corner plot with no shutters.. No trainers or mobiles i guess.. But still big glass windows.. Am I losing the plot? I would have thought a certain well known business further down the lane with the biggest windows ever would have been feeling more nervous than the much loved purveyors of finely sourced meat lol..

Hello, help please! Has anyone had a Jungle Gym wooden playframe put up before? I have the nut & bolts, wood supposedly cut to size - but no instructions. It's a small "castle". Can anyone recommend a carpenter that has put one up before that can look at the bits n bobs and recognise which bolts go where etc..?? There's a possibility that I may be able to get some instructions again from the original source, so that's hopeful, but wanted to get it up before the summer hols ends, thanks!

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.. next time I'll invite them in to my hallway, say "hold this a sec" give them something like a mug, and then quickly take their pic on my phone while they're distracted!

Hiya.. does anyone know what the old car parts shop is going to be - at the top of Lordship lane - by the library/bookies etc? I've been dying to know.. looks like it might be turnd into flats or something?? Scaffholding seems to have been there forever..
