  2. Quote Bluerevolution - "I wake up with Robbie Coltranes agent every morning, does that make me famous ?" Robbie Coltrane told me to F*** Off once. Did ask for it though. For some reasson I thought he was Rory Bremner. Jon
  3. Just wanted to share this What were they thinking of with that logo?
  4. You've been slagging them both off for 6 months - give it a rest. Practise what you preach about tolerance and exclusivity over on Urban75 Jon
  5. Wow you really do harbour a grudge don't you. And leap to conclusions. Urban75 is mainly superb but not in this case. Give him a break Jon

  9. If you want to go out on your own then maybe head down to West Wickham. If you go via Sydenham and Beckenham its all quiet back roads and then some lovely countryside - and hills! If you fancy a nice leisurely ride one sunday morning let me know Jon
  10. Oh sorry KK, yes it is JUNE I'm really looking backwards to it

  13. Threw it away last 2 months didn't they. Great season though. Found these pics of the old ground whilst clearing out Looks like they could've been against Kingstonian like yesterday Taken mid 80s I'd reckon when I first moved to Dulwich Jon

Zebedee Tring Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > > > Perhaps incontinence pads are called for. > > I'm excited about the prospect of a new cinema but > not THAT excited. I think he's taking the p*ss (no pun intended) as he's a little unhappy about James Barber's success in organising this. He takes every opportunity to have an unwarranted pop at the man. Not everybody agrees with JB's politics (I certainly don't) but he's a brave man sticking his neck out here very day and he is definately well intended. I suspect unlurked hides behind his keyboard and moans on here, doing absolutely nothing about it...
  16. Andrew Brock on Shawbury Road. Can't go wrong. He's done mine for years Jon

  18. The speed bumps on Ashbourne Grove are completely ineffectual. Its like having a few sheets of paper across the road. Don't even notice them on a pushbike Waste of money.
  19. A rather less gushing link can be found at http://www.urban75.net/forums/threads/dulwich-hamlet-fc-2013-2014-season-chat-rumours-reports.310974/page-78 Whilst on the pitch is fab, worrying times off the pitch I'd say Jon
  20. It was an amazing ground wasn't it. Back in the 70s/early 80s I followed my home town team Wycombe and came to Champion Hill quite a few times. I have very fond memories of Wycombe winning the league with a victory at Dulwich, followed by a fly past by Concorde. Would now consider myself a Dulwich fan though and would love to see another promotion to Conference. How bad is this jeopardy?
  21. Hope I'm not getting carried away, but, is the ground up to Conference standards? It needs to be Grade B: for clubs at level 6 (Conference North/South divisions) I can see a few problems in the attached (http://www.thepyramid.info/misc/ground.htm). The number of entrances needs to be 6 - we don't havbe that do we, and the toilet rules seem problematic. Anybody in the know? Jon
  22. That must have been very scary Jacqui and thanks for the warning. Hope you are not too shaken up. There have been a few of these type of instances reported here over the last few years and I've stopped riding that way after dark and go along Trafalgar Road and right into Sumner Road which is not too bad at all. It will bring you out at the Library and well worth considering. Jon
  23. Another vote for Lyndhurst, and agree about the tramline. Couldn't be in a worse place. Elsie Road is also a bad one. Jon
