  1. A cinema in that space seems entirely out of proportion to the space and without suitable public transport links, such that parking for local residents is likely to become even harder. The Ritzy is right by the tube, train and multiple bus lines, whilst this location has just three bus routes all going to the same stop. What measures are going to be taken to ensure that the surrounding streets are not clogged up? We already have extremely heavy non resident usage due to the proximity to North Cross and the shops on Lordship Lane as well as the thoughtlessness of some of the local businesses parking excessive amounts of vehicles and using public streets as some sort of extension to their storage and manufacturing requirements.
  2. There are no signs by the single yellows. Doesn't that make them unenforceable?
  3. Rented through them in Earlsfield several years ago. Went out of their way to avoid calls and emails when we left and were due our deposit back. It took over two months to get our deposit back.
  4. Not at the moment, but Alex said they would be open 7 days a week in three weeks time.
  5. Went laat night as well, brilliant food and wine and lovely staff, great new restaurant.

  7. Fair enough, I'd still recommend the restaurant :)
  8. Not sure if it's related to The Patch, but between four and six weeks ago there was a sign up in the window saying that the landlord (Enterprise Inns) had taken the property back from the tenant and they were not permitted to enter. Within a few days there was activity inside getting ready to reopen it, with whom I assume is now managing it. This was around the same time The Patch kickstarter project was coming to an end and hadn't met it's funding target, but purely speculation on my part as to whether it was actually The Patch it was being taken back from.
  9. Whilst I agree it seems to be impossible to get good sushi in SE22, I would highly recommend Tsunami in Clapham as a sushi restaurant. Since the overground extension from Denmark Hill opened it's easy to get to as it's directly outside the Clapham High Street station.
  10. No, people tend to just leave them in the family changing rooms
  11. I ordered sushi from Fujiyama a couple of months ago after seeing it suggested on here. I'm afraid to say it was awful.
  12. Incessant . . . a bit like this thread
  13. The connection with Terroirs / Soif / etc. would appear to be confirmed by the license transfer application listed in the window of G&B. It is listed as being transferred to "La Maison du Languedoc Ltd.". A whois lookup places the ownership of the relevant DNS entries for terroirs and soif to "William IV Street Restaurant LLP" which has the same registered office as the aforementioned.
  14. If it's a sister to soif how about faim? . . . or for a Dulwich connection Pickwicks?
  15. I'm just off Lordship Lane, I get a reliable 55-60Mb down, 18-20Mb up and 12ms ping. I work from home so use it heavily (circa. 100Gb per month) and have only once had any down time in about 18 months.
  16. Andrew (07956 882 051) runs a team of electricians that fitted ours, very good job and have used them for other work too. His team are the electricians that do the work for Classic Lofts.
  17. The 20% figure is widely quoted in the national press, particularly the Daily Mail and is based in this paper http://www.urbaneye.net/results/ue_wp6.pdf from 2002. However the methodology used in the estimate is largely discredited and the real number at the time as calculated by other bodies was put at about 30% if the number this paper concluded.
  18. Couldn't they remove the three benches from the roundabout end of the pub and build a wooden structure to contain their bins on the pavement instead? There would obviously be no impact on pedestrians as the area is already blocked by the benches.
  19. Yes, the Lordship Lane one, read the attachment James included.
