  1. For your info LM, I was reading today that if FG wins the election they will reverse the cut to the MW.
  2. Absolutely. I hate all races, especially the 800m.

I guess you've been asked before but would a lost and found section not be a good idea? Given the number of cats, dogs, keys etc that get lost and the fact that people seem to post all over the place, would it not assist people in posting and make it easier to tie up a lost with a found?
  4. Not as irritating as flatchested paul.
  5. I was implying no such thing MM. The last lot sold the gold reserves. If I was implying anything it is just that whoever is in government will raise funds whatever way they can and people need to keep an eye on how exactly they go about it.
  6. Does hubby ever get to make a decision LM?;-)

I still like the BBC though.

I take your point apart from the fact that s/he asked what time it happened at. Where do you get your 5 hours before from?

  10. Seems they will sell anything to raise funds. What's next.........the beaches?
  11. Not as far fetched as it sounds Mr.Twirly. I once went on a work trip to Sweden, somewhere in the sticks.I couldn't stay the whole weekend as I'd previously booked a trip to Dublin. So I ordered a cab to take me to the airport in the early morning. The taxi was there all right but the glass doors were locked. There was nobody about, not even a night porter. I couldn't get out. I eventually found a window I could partially open and squeezed out.

  13. You found your true home here Ladymuck under the banner of tattle tale and snitching, haven't you?
  14. Here are the prizes. I suppose the Take That tickets could be flogged for a tidy sum.
  15. Translate I had to meet someone yesterday for an interview. As part of my prep I googled his/her name just in case there was any information online that might be useful to me. In the link select the 1st item and hit the translate button on the right. The translation I can only presume leaves something to be desired but the end product is an article worth reading. Sadly the Tam Chung I met was not someone I'd want to share this experience with.

  17. tsimmonds Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Waitrose please and if this forces Iceland to > close all the better Do you use Iceland? I'll take that as a no. Well eff off then, I quite like it. Only place you can park if you need to grab a few things quickly.
  18. He'd be the one waving his willy about. How else would you recognise him?
  19. It's not new. Cup Final day 3pm 2004. About to watch ManU v Millwall. Mobile rings. 13 year old son speaks: 'Dad, don't be worried but I'm in the back of a police van'. He was heading to the police station to give evidence as one of his friends was mugged for an ipod while they were in Dulwich Park. Luckily in this case gang of teenagers caught. Talk about bad timing though.

But it gets weirder... Well if the leaving of cash if of concern, why not rebook a room in your name for example. He can be Ladymuck (god help him) and save the extra 20%.

  23. This will make you realise how little you know!
  24. Keep this up and it's your personal injuries claim you'll need to worry about. Em.....how do you cook frogs legs?
