I think it should be demolished and returned to common land - so agree with BoosBoss. I also note the public toilets that are underground at the corner of Grange Road and Tower Bridge Road are smiliarly for sale. Does this council have a plan to give the money it would normally use to maintain its public toilets, to local businesses (cafes pubs restaurants etc) as an expense to allow the public to use their facilities instead?

Living in poverty. I know someone who is not well and to cut a long story short they're not financially well either, now. But what is IMMORAL is that the very people who can least afford it including my friend is paying a very high rate for their electricity, yet those of us who are not doing so bad can get a cheaper rate, paying for both leccy and gas together by direct debit putting in our useage on line and not getting paper bills and it is all cheaper. Meanwhile, what IS it about families all the time? Do people never realise how many people don't live in families and consider their friends to be their 'family'? 'Appy Christmas though.

I looked at the website but did not understand what it was telling me. And it seems to be written for people who already have an ADvanced understanding. I'm quite good, but not brilliant at this. Thanks anyway.

Thanks. It makes sense but it's not right. I mean, I have checked and the music is nowhere else on my laptop. Just in the CD and the Library. I am indeed having to copy all the CDs again and that's slowly working. I also tried (but only when invited to by the window that came up) to make a back up to a DVD but it wouldn't copy!

I wrote and said I would be quite delighted at the opportunity to stand up in court holding the envelope which clearly stated that it was a warning only! I'll hunt for the photo of the envelope. I should rent it out!

A happy day when I got back to the motorcycle and found a parking ticket stuck to the windscreen in an ENVELOPE saying it was a warning only. I had parked on a boxing day. A bit like Sat 26th Dec, Westminster Libraries are treating it as a Bank Holiday but Westminster Parking B@stads are NOT. I ignored the thing and they sent me a reminder. I sent a photo of the official Westminster Parking control envelope. They said the case is dismissed.

Sighhhhhhhhhh Thanks guys and gals. I basically copied all my CDs again and am still doing it. They were not in the library (anymore). If only there was a button that says "Copy all your music from your CDplayer / hard drive / iPodLibrary / Elsewhere on to your iPod/Sony Music stick Yes / No / what" then I'd be happier. Simply having a 'sync' button is stupid!

My iPod - everytime it syncs from my entire library to the iPod which it does NOT need to do. I uncheck everything except what I need to go on the iPod and it won't do it. I switched to manual syncing. Now I find all the CDs I ever put on the iPod have disappeared and only that music I have purchased is being synced on, every time. I have to reinput all my CDs. I am soooo irritated! What have I done wrong? Why won't my copied CDs stay IN my ipod and seem to disappear everytime I put something new on? Grrrr. All help appreciated.

Yep, and London is coming to a halt. The trains are unable to move and the busses are trapped and those that aren't are not moving out the garages. The wheels of business are skidding as social services and everyone who works for councils are told to stay at home - oh wait - that's tomorrow.

I agree with what people have said above - and yes get yourself a gang of blood tests to check everything's working well. (And annasfield interesting I come over to you as younger.) "I have come across dippy women and thought oh god let me know if I am getting like that and now I wonder if I am in the first throws- you know the indecisive ones- the ones that need constant assurances? I may be in the early stages - But I wondered if this is how it will be and should I change professions now to something a little less demanding?" Sometimes I believe this to be behavioural. My Mum's like this and other women I have seen who have never had to make decisions for themselves throughout their lives. Maybe they were spoilt at home and married men who took over sort of thing, so that at a point in their lives where they have to make decisions they absolutely can't do it as they have never had to. I have always had to look after myself, and sometimes when I am faced with a load of choice (a hundred shampoos or too long a wine list not being typical examples!!) I walk away. Or when they have always been told they're fine and wonderful suddenly there is no-one to tell them and so they have no self esteem as it has always been given by others. Am I going off track?
