  1. Why don't you lot go to your local POLICE WARD PANELS to ask them to concentrate on the burglary problem? He's a councillor, not the police. He's doing his best. Do some work you lot, research, find out, and GO to your local police ward panels which is the correct platform for whinging about crime. I tend to put on the What's On section when the Nunhead and Peckham Rye one is (which covers a bit of East Dulwich).
  2. Oh don't get me wrong, I don't put more water in the kettle than I need to, because that way I pay less in electric bills. And so on. I think Priuses and other Hybrid cars are a joke because we are made to believe they're all green and friendly. They're not. I am talking about the fact the world and the climate and the nature is all bigger than us and our effect. Didn't I read somewhere that if the world has been around 24 hours, then we as humans have only been here the last minute.
  3. Refers iaineasy to the title of the thread. Nice pic tho!
  4. Six TEE eight guns....! And over to you lot for 69...
  5. Beano Number 67!
  6. Eh? Always have a friend with you when you take those pills!
  7. Mr PR is an aviation expert. Many's the time we will see some documentary or TV show or film and there's some plane flying and he'll say something like, "That plane wasn't built till two years later" or "That's the wrong sound for that plane". Yawn!
  8. How does one serve a bowl of cornflakes? That sort of thing?
  9. AGH!! The squirrels are also back! Climbing up 3 floors and digging up me plants. Grrrrrrrrrr
  10. "Time to Die" Rutgeur Hauer. And the scene with Sean Young also in Bladerunner (on tonight 12 Dec 9pm by the way). And the taxi scene in No Way Out with Sean Young (oooh I love her!)
  11. Beautifully put EDOldie. I think I agree with you. I am very concerned by the way the state makes me feel guilty for putting too much water in my kettle or for forgetting to turn off a light when - as you can see from one of my photos in the "View from our windows" thread, all the lights are on at night at buildings in which no-one lives or always works. So I refuse to feel guilty. Simple. It's not that I am neceesarily sceptical, more suspicious of this government and everything it tells me.
  12. Yay! MrPR took this one too. It's the Red Arrows flying towards the Mall for the Queen's something or other. Taken from the bedroom window.
  13. See below...
  14. My front door is 59 but I can't get a photo of it out of my camera - someome else can have this ( :( )

  19. Yup, only a matter of time till we are not allowed to make any judgement, decisions or develop any common sense whatsoever. Hoorah!
  20. Um, anyone got a nice shot of the view from their house? (!)
  21. Brilliant thread. Fulham Margate* Peckham Rye * I know, I know. But it was nice when I was there! And no, I never knew Tracey Emin! I was there today though and the Turner Exhbition Centre is coming along nicely. It's massive!
  22. I wasn't being sarcastic - but I like to read the reasons behind people's (otherwise useless) simple stated points of view, "I think this"; "I think something different", etc. Your point of view now explained is useful to read so thanks.
  23. Thanks for that, but why not when evidence shows we're safer there?
