vodaphone no net work coverage
fatfightersforever replied to Chocoholic's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Vodafone agreed that I can cancel my contract at any point because of the ongoing situation. I asked them to note this on my file to save a future argument. I haven't yet but no news as to when the problems will be resolved. willjac Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I too am waiting for a call to confirm whether I > can cancel my contract with them as I no longer > can "sit and wait" for the problem to be rectified > - Laxton House - have they now been in contact > with you? vodaphone no net work coverage

Please can everyone affected call Vodafone to complain. I rang again last night and they still have no idea when they will fix the problem. They will give you a refund but not much compensation for having no coverage. -
hi I called yet again yesterday (there's a separate thread on this will bump it up!) and they still have no date for when they will fix the problem-supposedly a mast that's down. I too have been promised a month's rental refund but still very frustrating not being able to take or make calls. I asked to speak to a supervisor but still waiting. Urge everyone to ring up Vodafone and vent their spleens please!

vodaphone no net work coverage
fatfightersforever replied to Chocoholic's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Thanks everyone, this is part of the message I got today posted below (apparently a mast is down in SE22) so think we are all entitled to at least two weeks of credit! Gearing up to try and call them tomorrow-reception permitting-ug. If anyone has any joy please post here-thanks again! I checked the network at your location SE22 and found that the issue is due to failure of a local site in your area, due to which the network services are affected. We always try to give you the services when and where you want them, however, due to the nature of mobile communication technology, it's impossible to provide a fault-free service. This technical fault, which happened due to the failure of a local mast in your location, is not something that we have done intentionally to interrupt your services. Furthermore, the fault has already been acknowledged and our engineers are already working on this issue to resolve it as soon as possible and ensure that the services are restored as soon as possible. I request you to please get back to us once you are able to use the services and we will credit your account with the number of the days you are not able to use the services for line rental on prorate basis. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter. Kind Regards, Imtiyaz Pathan Vodafone Customer Services -

Maybe tell Southwark and Lambeth dog wardens if you've not done so already? They reunited a dog with owner when I found one. Good luck! weeannie Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > found on sunray avenue a few days ago

Very kind and helpful when I took a dog I'd found there. Lent me a lead to get him home, very swish inside...looks good. -
Who to follow on Twitter in E. Dulwich?
fatfightersforever replied to Jakido's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Can all tweeters please tweet that a tan staffie cross dog, no microchip, unneutred, but wearing a brass studded collar has been found on Peckham Rye. Contact info via EDF! Thanks, have tweeted but don't have many SE London followers @ginettav -

fatfightersforever replied to Frankito's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Hi Frankito, Very sorry too to hear about your experience and thanks for posting, we too live on Therapia. Could be my usual paranoia but thought I heard our front gate open around 4am.....looked out but couldn't see anything....will be extra vigilant (paranoid!) from now on.. -

As a new pond owner I've got lots of frogs (look like they're doing tantric things!) and a newt but hardly any plants yet. Anyone know what to put in and where to get them from? Thanks for all great pond tips so far! -
WOW!! Amazing pic Liz x

Personally I think it's one of the best parts of ED (well obviously I'am biased!), great neighbours, peaceful yet easy to get down to LL and lovely shops and restaurants such as Omrith, wonderful Turkish shop and Herne Tavern. Also so nice and easy to get to Peckham Rye Park or Brenchley Gardens and One Tree Hill for walks, so easy to roll home on the no.63 bus and also to walk to Honor Oak Park station and be in Bond St within thirty minutes or so door to door. Agree with all my neighbours above! BTW neighbours kids are at Fairlawn if that helps...

Thanks Boothy, Just written to Tessa Jowell and James Barber in the hope that in this case at least something can be done to make this dreadful junction safer. boothy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I have recently written to Tessa Jowell, our MP > about the roads in ED as I am concerned about the > pedestrian crossing near my house on ED Grove > ie.vehicles are driving too fast and fail to stop > for pedestrians. > > I am so very sad to hear that the little girl died > yesterday- this is the type of tragedy that I > wanted Ms Jowell to try to help prevent. Mine too. so so sorry to hear this. If the accident happened outside old Kings on the Rye at the junction then that is exactly the spot where another girl died a little while ago. (Can't remember the exact date but her school friends' ties are still hanging on the railings.) Where do we go to try and get something done about this awful spot?

Thanks very much for this information James. I've just sent an email protesting about what seems like a ludicrous decision. Seems rather at odds with his electoral pledge to tackle knife crime doesn't it?

we did last week, pressure was right down, could hardly use it at all then miraculously came back a few hours later....also a mysterious power cut, again off for a few hours then back on. Strange although can't be related!

Weirdly a parcel arrived on sunday when we were out, they left a card for us to pick it up from silvester road after 24 hours but have been there twice now and no sign. Silvester road guys say they can't contact the 'special courriers' (these aren't the usual postmen/women) who are now being used by Royal Mail so can't tell me when or if it will arrive! Left them my number in the hope it will at some point. Doesn't seem much like an improvement in service and very annoying. They did say that other people were in a similar position.

So so glad to hear that you are home and feeling a bit better. Lots of people in ED wishing you well. My son worried that you are one of the guys he plays football with on the Rye. All best wishes to your friend for a speedy recovery.

Can't remember the name but Property in Dulwich was a children's toyshop/clothes/equipment run by a lovely woman who arranged midwife drop ins etc (before yummy mummies invented.) Anyone know what happened to the lovely owner of Free Range? Heard she won the lottery so hope that's true!
