    thought it was lovely in there, very friendly french man with mohican and nice girl who took us upstairs to show us the romantic moroccan themed room-obviously too romantic for mr fatty and I-we sat downstairs! They are almost up and running for cocktails too..

    Having seen the ad for hungry hippo players (?)have got up the courage to ask if any ED dwellers fancy playing bridge? Actually when I say playing what I mean is would anyone care to try and teach me to play bridge? Played at school with own set of bastardised rules but sadly so long ago have forgotten even those....hoping this will be a suitable activity to take me into the twilight years.

    it may soon be ponced up when the manhattan loft company arrives-v posh! also new development at top of hill....Turkish shop is fab, great veg and so much cheaper than sainsburys. anyone know what unwins site is yet? thanks

    just popped in, it looks gorgeous and spied coffee machine in there too....

    maybe although they are v pub trained! think it was later but still would have been expected to sit quietly outside...don't think it was ever a problem before.

    went to clockhouse recently as usual v early in eve to sit outside with two teenagers 15 & 13 and were told kids no longer allowed even though we were outside! V offputting...don't think much of their makeover either...

    also heard this rumour and that M&S want it for a small branch....seems a shame with increasing amount of gun hold ups around the area (video shop yesterday, Willow a couple of months ago....)
