  1. Hi, A couple of things come to mind - Try to avoid connecting the garden directly to the 5G router, connect it to the eero network. This way all your devices stay on the same network/ssid. This is the advantage of mesh; you have a single network so you can do things like control any network attached devices like wifi lights, Nest thermostats etc - Create a guest network for visitors; you don't want other people on your main network
  2. The new entrance is great i like what they have done with the plants and art.
  3. Jones of Brockley, East Dulwich
  4. KidKruger Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > 20mph zone means nothing if not enforced (with > harsh penalty). Completely agree. The only time drivers do below 20mph is when they are in traffic
  5. Who carries cash anymore. I took out 200 quid at lock down in case. I think i have virtually all of it 9 months on.
  6. I assume we are talking about East Dulwich Grove not East Dulwich Road? Unless there's a worm hole at the junction
  7. If there are two supermarkets and one enforces mask wearing and one doesn't; I'm going to the former
  8. Nope The volume to me is of an less of an issue than the speed. It would be nice if they would even attempt to enforce the law. The speed limit is 20 mph on the road but the law speed survey i saw had an average speed of around 30 mph.
  9. The service status of thier website is also down conveniently
  10. Are average speed cameras not allowed? Thats what's really needed on many roads such as East Dulwich Road, East Dulwich Grove, Crystal Palace Road and Barry Road
  11. You'd want the fine to be comparable to the permit cost, otherwise why get a permit.
  12. That's a lovely ad. Makes me grateful to live in such a lovely part of the world
  13. Hi, Does anyone know a Katy Cross as I have found her wallet? Thanks
  14. Its sad that tfl are not continuing with this project. There are whole cities in China with electric only buses. After the ultra emissions zone comes in i imagine the buses will be by far the most polluting vehicles in the zone
  15. I live on Dulwich Grove and cars and buses essentially race to the junction with Lordship lane; its ridiculous. The fact there are a number of schools and a hospital on the road so that there are many vulnerable people just makes it worse.
  16. I used to live on East Dulwich road for many years and agree that most people go above 20 mph unless there is traffic. Its just weird how normal people behave when in a car. You are driving in London so you are just speeding to the next set of lights! It will make minimal difference to the time you arrive at your destination.
  17. Me neither - Just off GG
  18. That is interesting because I would have liked all the speeding cars to subsidise my council tax
  19. So sorry to see you go James. Thank you for all your hard work
  20. My flat has views of the City in the winter (trees in the way in summer). The flat is for sale. PM me for details
  21. I sadly have this bookmarked https://my.virginmedia.com/faults/service-status
  22. Hi, I travel through Rye Lane almost everyday and find that it appears to be law unto itself. That is the rules of the road that he rest of our beloved nation adheres too (well trys to) seem not to apply here. Cars/Vans merryilly park in the bus stop, perhaps they have identity issues and beleive themselves to be a bus! Let us not even begin the subject of the permanant road works. My concern is mostly as it delays the bus taking me to delightful law abiding Dulwich. Any thoughts as to who I can whinge to? J
