This Cannondale Quick Neo SL Electric Bike is quick, lightweight, nimble and comfortable bike, with fast tires, confident handling, and electric assist that’s just right for darting around town. The bike comes with a BRAND NEW powerful Mahle battery (worth £600) which powers the rear-hub drive system with a range of up to 75km/47miles. The battery is hidden in the frame. The bike has a lightweight aluminium frame and carbon fiber fork / Shimano 9-speed gearing. The frame size is large (170-182cm) The bike has a light indicator on the frame, which shows you the power left in the battery and when to charge. As the battery has been replaced, the power hub does not work with the app, but the hub and the battery work perfectly. This bike retails at new at £2400. My bike has barely been used and in superb condition. It's a steal at £899. More info on this bike can be seen here: www.cannondale.com/en/bikes/electric/e-fitness/quick-neo-sl

Sidhil Pressure Relief Alternating & Static Plus II Dynamic Mattress This mattress works with a Sidhil mattress system and pump. It provides pressure relief and works brilliantly with a profiling bed. The mattress is deflated and comes in a bag. It doesn’t come with the pump, but this can be bought separately. The picture shows how it looks when it’s connected. The mattress is a single size. it’s available now, and free. I live near Dulwich Library.

Nope - we had a bike that had two sturdy locks on it stolen. The people who lived opposite the bike store said they did think they’d heard an angle grinder at 4am 😳

Can I thank everyone for their comments and suggestions on this thread. My apologies for not replying earlier - work pressure. My house is not even close to well insulated. As one thread poster suggested, the ground floor boards are just laid over joists with no insulation beneath. The loft has minimum insulation and the external walls are not insulated at all. It feels like this is the right place to start and a no regrets place to invest. I am still very much interested in installing this tech and will be keeping an eye on both ground source and air source pumps become more energy efficient, while I work on the insulation. I think the new Government scheme may encourage more investment in this sector. It really feels like moving from fossil fuel is the way to go, but maybe that's in incremental steps for me. I'd really like this thread to keep going as the science develops, so all new thoughts and views would be great to hear. Thanks

thanks Cidolphus. I was really interested in getting some of the other view. Thank you.

Hi I am looking at possibly changing our mains gas boiler and interested in getting a heat pump (either air or ground) I wondered whether anyone on the forum had already installed a heat pump at their house and might be able to share some do's and don'ts? Is it hard to do? Was there a lot of insulation steps you had to go thorough? Does it provide a reliable source of heat and hot water? Thanks Thursday

Gone now: Giving away a games console
thursday replied to thursday's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Sorry, it has gone now. thanks for asking though -
Gone now: Hi, I have an Xbox Games Console that I no longer need and wanted to see if someone would find it useful. I know the stuff for sale thread is closed, understandably, but I thought this might be helpful if someone is struggling to keep their children occupied in isolation. If it's useful to you, please drop me a PM. Comes with games. Thanks.

Hi, I posted a while back to say that my MGB had been stolen. Through the forum, I have spoken to other people who have had their car stolen, and found that there have been a number of classic cars stolen in the area in recent months. This includes one where there has been excellent CCTV footage of the theft (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/11/07/brazen-thieves-steal-classic-car-broad-daylight-using-car-push/) If you have had a car stolen, and you would like to link your car up with the rest of us, for the Police to follow up, can you please drop me a PM? Thanks Emma PS - Moderator, I know this is, technically, a lost and found subject, but can we keep it in the general section, so people see it, just for a bit? Thank you

Hi all My MGB Roadster was stolen from the top section of Upland Road, East Dulwich earlier this month. It has been reported to the Police and flagged with DVLA and MG Owners club. In the desperate hope that she is still in the area, I am posting this here in case anyone will have seen her. If you have, please do drop me a PM Thanks very much, Emma

Mini Cooper wing mirrors ripped off Goodrich Road
thursday replied to another annie's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
That?s really annoying. Same thing happened to both our Minis on upland road - twice. We?ve resorted to etching the car reg onto the covers and to glueing them on. Not had them stolen since. You can proberbly buy them back on e-bay! -
In the last 3 days we have both sets of side mirror covers removed (stolen) from our cars, and have also noticed another car has had the same treatment up the road. Appears to happen in daylight hours, we are on upland road. Anyone else affected? We can replace them for ?40 but likely to get stolen again and not keen on having them stolen to be sold back to us! Frustrating...

Just to add my recommendation for Richard. He's done a great job in our hall, which was really tricky given its height. Very clean, punctual and reasonably priced. I have used him a couple of times, and will again!

Steve got to my house within the hour, took 20 mins to diagnose and solve the problem and was really reasonable too. Machine sorted and he was on his way before I knew it. Will be saving his number for next time!

Just had Fernando working at my place this morning, shifting bricks and sand. He worked really hard and got the job done super quick. Not the easiest of jobs but worked really hard. Would have him over here again. T

Hi, I bought a flat a good while ago where Southwark Council own the leasehold. I would like to do some work, now, to the flat but looking at the webiste, we have to ask for all sorts of permission and submit plans to get the work approved. And of course, this comes with a fee. It seems I can't even change a kitchen cupboard without permission. Have any of you any expereince in renovating your homes - and did you always ask permission first? Cheers, Thursday
