hi my baby will be 10 weeks on tues and shes wearing 3-6m!! she is extremely tall and thin with big feet lol. iv found that next clothes are best for her, they seem wide but hands and legs fit fine in 3-6, so try there perhaps?

hi there, i had really bad mastisis 2 weeks after i had my little girl, i didnt even realise i had it! had to be rushed to A&E because i had suvch a high fever, seldoc was completly crap told them i was unwell with a high fever and had just given birth and had a bad tear and they told me to just get some rest!! but what really helped was antibiotics i had through iv drip, had you tryed using a really good pump? that can usually start unblocking the milk ducts but just wait and see hpw you go with what GP has given you and keep changing feeding positions to help relieve some pressure thats what i did and it really did the trick hope you feel better soon! but if you do start getting a high fever do not leave it and go to ur gp asap or call seldoc!

hi there! my little girl is just coming up to 3 months and iv decided to look for a nursery place (cause i know east dulwich places are hard to get!) i need to go back to uni this sep and would need her to go to nursery for around 3 days a week. iv applied to gumboots but need some other good trusted nurserys in the neighbourhood, could anyone give me a few theyy think are good? i know this question has been asked numerous times but i am now quite anxious about her getting a place! thanks! nabz x

I did yoga at the push studios so will deffo look out for that! is there a website for them? how do i book? at the moment iv been just concentrating on walking and a couple of sit ups, iv lost all weight except for that darn belly! but perhaps it will be harder as before i was pregnant my belly wasnt the flattest :/ thanks again for all the messages! sometimes i feel like im the only one who feels like this! and the only one who doesnt seem to be slimming down after birth! i need to cut the chocolate out i think...but atm its like a pregnant craving! and before giving birth i hated chocolate lol.

i dont think i could start running yet! especially about the saggy boobs :S can berly run for the bus lol. i might try that fb group and see, im walking quite alot now so hopefully that should help. I tore after delivery so perhaps i should take it easy for now. and i agree i dont really want to give her formula while excersising, so bringing her along would be best. also iv found my bodys just changed completly after having her, i never had hips before and al of a suddun i do! with a bit of love handles lol which i never ever had before! but deffo need to flatten the belly

thanks for the replys! i just find it soo hard to diet :S i litrally can not give up any kind of food lol! as i type im munching on chocolate biscuits and its past mid night! :O zumba sounds really good, perhaps an evening class would be helpful i feel like my money going to the gym will be a waste...iv never joined weight watchers before, is it easy to follow? jelly belly pilates sounds really gd especially if my little girl can attend to! I must admit, im 20 years old and atm am feeling verrrryyy lazy...but the weight must be lost!

Hi there! I had my baby 7/02/2012 and am now trying to think about weight loss, I don't know what to do, apart of me thinks it's still early and I'm BF but then I look in the mirror and I'm horrified! It's mainly my belly...after delivery it was soo small and now it looks huge! How did I manage to gain weight! Sorry I'm having a little rant, does any one know of any exercise held in nunhead/east dulwich? I just joined the gym but havnt had a chance to go, I'm worried about the little one getting hungry while I'm away and my hubby thinks it's a good excuse to give her formula which then makes me feel not needed! Ahhh I don't know what to do all I know is I hate my belly pouch :,(

hi so sorry to hear about your situation! i just got out of hospital becuase of a bad case of mastitus (was rushed to A&E had a very very high fever, in hospital for 4 days!) if you feel even a tad fevirish go straight to GP and see if you need antibiotics, can get very bad very quickly. what really helped me was getting into a hot shower and massaging the lumps, but the main difference i found was when the midwife showed me a different breast feeding position. i think its called the 'rugby' hold, you hold your baby in one arm instead of cradiling them, so baby goes under your arm pit so babys head is on breast but body is not lying arcoss your chest...sorry hard to explain i hope im making some kind of sense!! :S but baisically the baby then sucks at a different direction and can empty ducts. also lots of people have said put cabbage on the swollen breast...i havnt personally tried it but soooo many people recommend it. recently iv also heard that urm if your partner sucks at the swollen breast it helps straight away as their sucking motion is alot stronger. sorry if that sounds weird/disgusting/ or just o.O but i know someone who actually did this when having really really swollen breasts and they got better straight away! anyway hope this helps! nabz x

Hi everyone, I havnt posted in a while, while i was pregnant i never got a chance to meet any mummys who were due around feb march time mainly becuase i was still at uni and working. but i have just had my little girl Safiyya 4 weeks ago :D so i would love to meet up with other mums, il be 21 this summer so as you can imagine none of my friends have children yet so im feeling quite lonely with baby at home, so would love to meet other new mums and their bundles of love! having a good moan and swapping tips and stories would be great! nabz x -
would love to venture out with you louise! x

awwww belle im sorry to hear that! I had mastitus 2 weeks after having her and was rushed to A&E, first time i left the house lol! so i deffo understand, i had to go to university today so left her with my dad, but seems i didnt express enough and i made one extra bottle of formula just incase...he gave it to her but she rejected it at first but she did have a bit of it...and i hated it! i felt so useless lol and the fact that my boobs were ready to explode lol. i wish i could express faster though :( i have to go again tomorrow for an hour or two and dreading having to manually express! can anyone recommend a pump that works really fast? Il deffo try bf in public need to get use to it, after making a bottle of formula took a while! guess its something you have to get used to. Thank you everyone! iv got to say as iv not left the house properly yet i deffinitly feel a little isolated :( so its nice to know all these other brand new mums are out there! and the more experienced ones ;)
-
hi :) i live in nunhead and have a 4 week old baby girl, hoping to start leaving the house soon so would love to meet up some time! i havnt breast fed in public yet so once i get the hang of that i cant wait to get out of the house! nabz x
-
thanks everyone! So far she has managed really well and breastfeeding goes down with no fuss (even though i just came out of hospital with mastitus :( im a bit worried about feeding in public...where do you do it? what if theres no where to sit down? i have some good nursing tops and bras i guess its just putting it into practice! when did you go out first with your little one? im scared shes too small to take out and thats why im thinking of expressing so i can leave once in a while! i think il have to get the medela swing im so impatient with the avent one i have. i guess breast feeding soley would be much easier then sterilising bottles and prep. i guess im feeling rather rough and tired but hopefully now im past 1 month it will get easier? atm moment i feel like a machine! more advice welcome!! nabz
-
hi again east dulwich mummys, Im in need of your help, my little girl has just turned a month old and i was wondering when to introduce formula? atm she is being breast fed exclusively however im feeling rather house bound as i can never seem to leave the house as im feeding on demand! I have the avent electric pump for expressing however i find it completely rubbish! anyone know of a good pump that works fast and effectively? atm i am expressing manually which is going fine however it does take rather long! Or do you recommend that i carry on breast feeding and introduce formula at a later stage? she has only ever had a bottle once but took to it quite well. do babies that are bottle fed drink quicker then on the breast? and does formula fill their bellys for longer? any advice on this would be great! or any tips and stories! Thank you nabz :) x

hi everyone, my little girl will be a month old on tuesday and i was thinking she might like a gym or bouncer to entertain her. at the moment she is extremely alert but does get bored very easily. which is the better product out of the two? they are both quite expensive and if i were to get a bouncer id deffinitly want to invest in one that rocks by its self. which did you buy and use most? is she too young for these? any help advice would be great :D thanks nabz
