  1. 2D! i went to see it in imax in 2D and it was great i hate 3D my head hurts after an hour and a half so im sure for a 4 year old it will be even more annoying...
  2. i had a third degree tear right through my muscel...dont know if this is the same thing? i just had my check up and everything has healed nicely but tbh i can sometimes feel it....:S did it not heal up quite as well as it should have?
  3. my babys 3 months and has several naps during the day lol! shes down by 9:30 then wakes up between 5:30-8am for a feed then back to sleep (so i can get a little more sleep too!) then shes up again by 10:30 has a feed then back asleep around 1:30 for around 45mins then feed then her next feed is around 3/4 then quite a long nap and her feed is then around 7/8 then one bottle of formula at 9 (so i can get some rest and gather milk for the next morning!). i found using a strict routine really does the trick with her at bedtime which funnily i learnt from edf mummys who inspired me to be able to put my daughter down at 9 instead of 11 or even midnight for then her to wake up at 2am!! so thank you everyone!
  4. i dont think they do give it...i was offered pethidine but only had it once and fell asleep for an hour and that was that lol. i think to have it more effective you need to be contantly using it or nearer to the birth? I was only told about epidural gas and air and pethidine
  5. ah i see! i live in nunhead near the train st i know theres a few in east dulwich but would prefer something closer as still bf and reeallly cant be botherd expressing lol! do you know of any zumba places around here? thanks!

  7. also should i join ww?? i was planning too but i never got around to it...is it worth it? and is it easy to follow?
  8. hi everyone just saw this thread, iv decided to start trying to shed the weight now my baby will be 3 months in 2 weeks, after reading this iv tryed the water idea it works wonders! will deffinitly be sticking to that i get really snacky in the evenings so need to find some kind of distraction for after dinner! im now trying skipping everyday heard it gets the heart pumping and the weight melting! its just taken time to get used to my new body shape....i sometimes feel like a completly different person :S
  9. gosh i know how that feels! just tryed on all my clothes and i feel so ugly in them! iv never had hips and now i have these huge love handels! @_@ still trying to get rid of the yummy mummy belly i got going on...i find that my foundation and lower black eye liner does the trick! feel more human atleast and a fresh haircut never hurts x
  10. i deffinitly dont mind advice, the more advice on both nurserys and childminders the better! which one will work out cheaper if i needed childcare around 3 days a week?
  11. probably around 3/4 days a week as il be going back to uni, i know iv left it quite late to apply for nurserys have only applied to gumboots which i reeeally want however the waiting lost is incredibly long :( but thank you for all your advice and i shall look into both although im still leaning towards nursery however it is expensive!
  12. tbh im quite scared about leaving my baby with a childminder, iv heard such horror stories recently! atleast if shes in a nursery theyl be other children to play with and more then one adult...:S
  13. Hi there my daughter is only 10 weeks old but i would like her to start nursery in september, am i likely to get a place in any of the nurserys surronding east dulwich? is there any nurserys that have a relitively short waiting list so im guareented to get a place? thank you! nabz
  14. hi there im looking for a postnatal class in nunhead or east dulwich, some where local as iv just joined the gym but havnt even had a chance to go yet!! my baby will be 10 weeks tomorrow and i havnt done any type of post natal yoga/ pilates which i think would be a good help to me as i tore very badly during labour. any thought of where to go? thanks! nabz
  15. hi there i am also interested, how much is a class? i had my baby by natural birth in feb but had a really bad 3rd degree tear and havnt done any kind of post natal class!! which i think i should nabz x
  16. hi my baby will be 10 weeks on tues and shes wearing 3-6m!! she is extremely tall and thin with big feet lol. iv found that next clothes are best for her, they seem wide but hands and legs fit fine in 3-6, so try there perhaps?
  17. hi there, i had really bad mastisis 2 weeks after i had my little girl, i didnt even realise i had it! had to be rushed to A&E because i had suvch a high fever, seldoc was completly crap told them i was unwell with a high fever and had just given birth and had a bad tear and they told me to just get some rest!! but what really helped was antibiotics i had through iv drip, had you tryed using a really good pump? that can usually start unblocking the milk ducts but just wait and see hpw you go with what GP has given you and keep changing feeding positions to help relieve some pressure thats what i did and it really did the trick hope you feel better soon! but if you do start getting a high fever do not leave it and go to ur gp asap or call seldoc!
  18. hi there! my little girl is just coming up to 3 months and iv decided to look for a nursery place (cause i know east dulwich places are hard to get!) i need to go back to uni this sep and would need her to go to nursery for around 3 days a week. iv applied to gumboots but need some other good trusted nurserys in the neighbourhood, could anyone give me a few theyy think are good? i know this question has been asked numerous times but i am now quite anxious about her getting a place! thanks! nabz x
  19. Hi everyone hope you guys can help me out! I reallly want to go on holiday end of may/ begining of june with my husband and my baby girl who will be 4 months then. i want to go some where nice and sunny but baby friendly too. Were on a budget (and by that i mean we are quite tight on money) but there must be some nice place to go for around 10 days, even if its in England. if you know any where please message me! thanks! nabz x
  20. I did yoga at the push studios so will deffo look out for that! is there a website for them? how do i book? at the moment iv been just concentrating on walking and a couple of sit ups, iv lost all weight except for that darn belly! but perhaps it will be harder as before i was pregnant my belly wasnt the flattest :/ thanks again for all the messages! sometimes i feel like im the only one who feels like this! and the only one who doesnt seem to be slimming down after birth! i need to cut the chocolate out i think...but atm its like a pregnant craving! and before giving birth i hated chocolate lol.
  21. i dont think i could start running yet! especially about the saggy boobs :S can berly run for the bus lol. i might try that fb group and see, im walking quite alot now so hopefully that should help. I tore after delivery so perhaps i should take it easy for now. and i agree i dont really want to give her formula while excersising, so bringing her along would be best. also iv found my bodys just changed completly after having her, i never had hips before and al of a suddun i do! with a bit of love handles lol which i never ever had before! but deffo need to flatten the belly
  22. thanks for the replys! i just find it soo hard to diet :S i litrally can not give up any kind of food lol! as i type im munching on chocolate biscuits and its past mid night! :O zumba sounds really good, perhaps an evening class would be helpful i feel like my money going to the gym will be a waste...iv never joined weight watchers before, is it easy to follow? jelly belly pilates sounds really gd especially if my little girl can attend to! I must admit, im 20 years old and atm am feeling verrrryyy lazy...but the weight must be lost!
  23. Hi there! I had my baby 7/02/2012 and am now trying to think about weight loss, I don't know what to do, apart of me thinks it's still early and I'm BF but then I look in the mirror and I'm horrified! It's mainly my belly...after delivery it was soo small and now it looks huge! How did I manage to gain weight! Sorry I'm having a little rant, does any one know of any exercise held in nunhead/east dulwich? I just joined the gym but havnt had a chance to go, I'm worried about the little one getting hungry while I'm away and my hubby thinks it's a good excuse to give her formula which then makes me feel not needed! Ahhh I don't know what to do all I know is I hate my belly pouch :,(
