The decent italians are all on Blackstock Road - which tube you going to? Or there is a great Greek place opposite the Arsenal Tavern - but only if you are incognito!
I would recommend the Mermaid Fish Bar on Holloway Road, on the left before you get to the Co-op funeral parlour! Otherwise there are lots of kebab type places.
The best place in Central London IMO is YMCA on Great Russell St - ?49.00 per month for swim, gym and classes. The outdoor pool in Endell St used to be ?22 pm for just swimming but agree a bit manky
Only had the flu once - it was dreadful and I do feel sorry for you. Not sure there is much you can do apart from drink lots of water and gets lots of rest. Hope you are feeling better soon
I think the story was that they have planning permission to sell drinks but not food? Anyway, I like Cafe Nero and signed their petition for them to stay
I went in to Shaun's DIY near the station on Saturday (used to be Terry's DIY) - all the staff in there were very helpful. They had lots of customers in whilst I was waiting and all left well satisfied.
Saw Tell No One and The Kite Runner last week - both excellent. Currently watching Blood Diamond - better than I thought it was going to be. Agree with Keef about This is England - great acting from the young skinhead
Heard on the news this morning that Wetherspoons are going to restrict parents with children in pubs to two drinks only - to save the embarrassment of kids seeing their parents drunk. A step in the right direction I think!
