  1. Hi there, I get the 63 from near The Gardens to Farringdon every day (mainly as I can't be bothered to chop and change and a bus pass is cheap!). It's reliable but fairly slow, especially around 8am. I travel a little bit earlier so always get seat upstairs and switch off for the 50 minute journey. I'd recommend Thameslink for anyone whose patience is limited in a morning! Enjoy your non-Northern Line commute!
  2. Katie, I'm with you, but determined to see it through to the bitter end. Some very good story telling in there but it's buried amongst pages and pages of nonsense and I want to yell "JUST GET OVER IT!!!" Anyway, sorry I missed the meeting, I was away in sunny Devon attempting to surf. See you in October!
  3. Do you mean Waghorn Street? I lived on Waghorn Street, SE15 in rented accommodation for about 5 years in total. I absolutely loved it. I now live about a 5 min walk away, technically in East Dulwich, but that's as much by coincidence than by design. Peckham Rye is really well catered for transport wise in SE London. I think where you're looking has the best balance of transport availability of Peckham Rye and access to the lovely neighbourhood pubs, parks, food markets and places to eat of Peckham Rye (and the ever developing Bellenden Road) and East Dulwich. If you live in Deptford you're no stranger to what can happen around these parts but also what the actual reality of every day life is like in comparison to rumour and media hype. Also check out Nunhead, Brockley and Crystal Palace if you're committed to buying in the SE. Enjoy!
  4. I was on holiday last year and there was a lovely solitary rose growing in the hedge by which my caravan was situated. I watched people admire the flower, smell it and walk on for three or four days. Then some selfish shit came along, cut it off and took it away! Something that had given lots of people a couple of minutes pleasure ended up in a mug of water on someone elses table before dying. Some people don't want to share, they want to have.
  5. It's driving me crackers! I can't work out if they're doing something new or just re-doing what they've done already.
  6. Yep a couple of birthday cards/ cheques went missing last week. I was told a couple of years back that postmen 'don't always have time to leave a card' when I chased up a missing parcel on the off chance with the sorting office. Thankfully the parcel was being held there, they just failed to actually let me know. I'm Peckham Rye.
