yes and its incredibly painful. For purely selfish reasons I wouldn't suggest u joined us there's already too many ppl on board filling everything up! WARNING! -I have many personal issues from my daily commuting this wk - WARNING!

I'd blame the cyclists... they dont pay anything yet wear the road out quite considerably... dont u think? Sorry, I'll b serious... There r many things wrong wiv wot we pay for. Just think how many times a road, just after has been resurfaced, is dug up by various different companies and various different times when if u think about it it would make more sense if these various companies worked together and did everything (so far as they can) at the same time. Each time creating heavy traffic, closed roads, diversions for months at a time... AND the cost each time round... that would be a bigger concern to me... maybe

::o the kids had to walk home bcoz the buses were on diversion?!!! absolutely shocking!!

Do many people actually claim for such occurences tho?

Just out of curiousity really... will neighbouring roads be informed too? Only that many neighbouring streets also use Melbourne Grove to park from time to time. :)

I don't like it either. It's another free opportunity for winning favour, seeming like they (the parties concerned) care for the community, leading us in to a false sense of wanting etc. grrrr must they use the forum in such a manner? :( I dunno *shrugs*

Our washing machine blew up (almost literally) this weekend resulting in having to purchase a new one. Went through Argos, not sure if the promotion is still running, but saved ?68 off the full price, and bought a Beko, arrived this morning and all seems quite straightforward (the model that is). Yet to report on the cycle...

Barber was busy doing his rounds of door to door yesterday... I doubt he had time to pop on here to see your comments iamhere and then find your email elsewhere in which to respond. I assume you have chased him up over the "failure" to respond to your emails? If its such a matter of urgency why have you not considered contacting someone else? Barber is not the only one who makes the world work you know.
