  1. Where is the new place?
  2. Londis isnt a take away or fast food outlet. Its simply another convenience store.
  3. Did you ever resolve the issue without resorting to chucking it out a window (a real one)?
  4. Out of curiousity... what constitutes a "best" porridge? Oats? Consistency? Taste? Should we ever add extras to the mix?
  5. As much as I support the protection of wildlife from predators its incredibly important not to don a feline chum with any old collar. Collars can be a hazard to cats. They can easily get caught on things resulting in choking. If cat owners really must use a collar, consider one that is quick release or of the paper kind (yes I know they wont last long).
  6. Have you been able to clearly define your categories?
  7. I don't think the network issues today is specific to Three and ID. I've been having low to almost non existent connection on other networks for most of the day in ED all the way through to Lewisham... The usual third tree on the left up the hill and round the corner, stretching high has not been very successful!
  8. What did the notice on the front door say? The planning applications currently being considered clearly refer to Tesco Stores Ltd. The signage for above the entrance says "Tesco Express". I can't imagine the two companies combining in the same space 😉
  9. Last night was a different kind of event entirely though...
  10. How do you know it's "abandoned"? Why is there a move to have it removed? Is it causing an issue besides being an inconvenience to you/neighbours? Maybe the owner is away for a long period of time? If it's all legal then why is anyone creating a fuss?
  11. What was he knocking for? What was actually said? Why did he become aggressive? More context is needed 😶
  12. So essential work being undertaken to important services is a problem?
  13. "Carnage"? Has there been a death?! 😶 Isn't the work meant to be to do with the "streets for people" project? https://services.southwark.gov.uk/transport-and-roads/improving-our-streets/live-projects/street-improvements/east-dulwich-streets-for-people
  14. Erm actually, they've been doing a fair bit more than that tiny patch. They're incredibly tidy and fill things back in once done and take the temp lights out often. Lots of preparation, from my daily observance (no I'm not a nosy neighbour, the walk past that stretch is part of my daily commute), has been done especially with wiring. One of the crossings, already in place (not in use), does take a bit of looking at to process how it will work with the flow of traffic and timings... Considering the heavy use of the junction, I think the work being done is not too bad. The traffic does move, unlike when the numerous pipes from the library and right through/past Forest Hill burst. It's worth keeping in mind, the Thames Water Works at the Library are not helping with congestion. The timing of these two projects are really the bug bear.
