  4. I was down there yesterday and the place isn't that clean at all!! The softplay area does reek of pee and they have put new balls in on top of the old ones.Theres a build up of black grime (possibly dry vomit)on a lot of the balls and the place is not very exciting for kids.My son was bored easily.Theres just not enough there to keep kids entertained.I'd hate to see what it was like before! I wont be going there again it's not worth the 2 pounds.
  5. Thanks I think,I will speak to my Priest when collecting the papers and hopefully he can explain!!
  6. Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I am getting married soon and provided all the paperwork (or so I thought)to my local church,Birt Certs, letters of freedom,Baptismal Certs,Confirmation Certs,we done the Marriage Course and have also applied for the Licence. We are getting Married in Ireland. I have just been informed by my priest that I have to fill out another form and get it signed by a Solicitor. Can anyone tell me what this is for? My priest wasnt very helpfull when asked!I have yet to pick up the form so I dont know exactly about the content. I have looked online and theres no mention of a solicitors letter etc. If anyone can shed some light on this i'd really appreciate it! thanks
  7. We always go to Ireland by ferry,I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. I cant say that we have ever had a problem. The journey from London to Holyhead is the worst part even though both mine always sleep! Getting back to the ferry,my daughter slept in the bunk with her dad and I had the baby in with me,she was excited and Stena Line do have a soft play area,Iwould recommend bringing some crayons and markers with you just in case! Safe sail btw
  8. Well I heard that a lady was assaulted,I only heard it yesterday! The Hellicopter was out looking for the attacker. I dont mean to scare anyone reading this.
  9. You might want to try Goats milk, theres no guarantee it will work but it's worth a try!! My cousin suffered badly as a child and my dad used to make him drink Goats milk and it reduced the redness and he saw such an improvement. You could also swap reg cheese with goats cheese etc. I hope he finds something that will help!!
  10. Well I think my two are getting over the worst of it now thank God!! Roll on the Festive season!!

  12. Just wondering if there are any other parents out there with ill kids. My 2 have been ill for over 2 weeks now, between diarrhea, vommiting and a nasty cough runny nose high fever etc.I have attempted to make appointments at the doctors but have been told there are none available and the duty doctor will call me!She has called and told me theres nothing she can give,i'm to make sure they keep hydrated and it will pass. I guess i'm just frustrated as I hate seeing them so ill.I have been giving them Nurofen for the temp and Honey lemon and sugar to soothe the cough and I have been rubbing Vix on their chest at night, the cough just keeps them up all night.Anyone have any other home remedies?I hope it starts to clear soon as Christmas will be very miserable with 2 sleep deprived ill kids.
  13. I need to get a car seat for my 3year old as she has grown out the one we have (She's tall for her age) Does anyone have any recommendations?Greatly appreciated. thanks

She is nearly 3 now and I can only say that the sight of readybreak,or mushy food makes her gag!!needless to say she doesn't stick around when im feeding my 9 month old son. I would say that it's a phase they go through, maybe im wrong!! rahrahrah Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > My 1 year old girl has taken to shoving her > fingers down her throat. 20. Love what they've done to the place, very modern. Pool looks great but it's very cold, couldn't manage the 1 hour swimming with toddler as she was freezing!! Also there doesnt seem to be any anti slip mats in the changing rooms, can be very dangerous,I slipped twice, went to have a shower and the water was tepid. Other than that little moan, I love it.
  21. My daughter absolutely loved the trampoline she got on her 2nd Birthday (a mini one) Bought it in Argos, she still has it in her room it's not that big, also blackboard and chalk,Dora phone,Books,Plastic Piano.I'll be here all night if I dont stop typing, lol.Good luck,im sure she'll love it!!

Well I have myself psyched up to the hills to get in shape for Xmas,I think im going to start with weight watchers, there is a class on a Mon evening at 19:00 in East D ulwich Community Centre, the question is does anyone know if you can just walk in??? Anyone fancy starting on Mon?? Lets get rid of the Jelly bellys
  23. I'm in the same boat,I have a very active 32 month old and 9 month old, would be great to just go somewhere where I'm not stressed out worrying about her hurting herself,I regularly take her to the park but there's not much to do with my 9 month old and now that the weather is on the change it's just not going to work!!
