www.austenjonessolicitors.co.uk very reasonable in fact half the price of our previous local one as they are seld employed so no fancy offices to run...have office in upland rd with admin andsecurity storage, specialists in all sorts- we used for Wills and LPOA, but also have solicitors specialising in conveyancing etc. Will home visit or work by phone (maybe Zoom now). 5 years ago they offered a free 15 min consult. Prices up front for standard jobs- none of this adding more dosh to bill each time a letter is written. Do look at their website.

Some one asked me to rec. an above. I may have inadvertently given Milford's number containing 1 incorrect digit.. The number is 0779 22068049

It used to be in now demolished Dul. Hospiaat so assume now in Tessa Jowell? But don't see a phone no for them on link that you sent - do u have to ring 111 1st?
-
Apart from eating soup and pain killers your only option to be see n more quickly is to go privately. If your cheek becomes got and swollen it is worth trying 111 again and they will put you onto Kings Dental Hospital Emergancy clinic who may "patch u up"... I did it a few years ago - had to wait about 6 hrs, dentist did summut, gave me antibiotics until cd be followed up by NHS Dentist.
-
How about physical games us golden oldies used to play eg.. statues, blind mans buff, musical chairs etc. Wd keep kids warm and give summat for adults to watch.

Bins on the pavement- keep on your own property!
gabys1st replied to Forevergreen's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
As a wheelchair user bins can make difficulty. My route to Kings takes me along some very narrow pavements where peeps have to keep bins out front. However I ask that owners of these bins do not put them opposite a lamp post or tree as it can be very tricky and sometimes impossible to get berween them. -

Suggest that given this Forum is closing :-( you make a note of this guy who recently carried out a complicated connection and installation of my new Washer/Dryer. I call him " the Corgi man" as he initially came came from Corgi Home Service to do annual check on Boiler. At thesame time I asked him bout my jammed radiator control valves...He fiddled with them all for a few minutes , used a special oil for rubber aand presto all OK. Compare this to gas safe plumber I had previously thought was good - but gave a verbal quote of ?300-400 but wd get aa written one - this never materialised. Anyway back to my Corgi man... Labour, going to different shops to track down all the different bits needed came to only ?140 inc. VAT. Took Corgi man and his son about an hour to connect everything up. Corgi man also rang to say was running a little late... can't fault him . Corgi man phone: 07792068049
