  1. My terrific cleaning/helping lady, J, is a single mum with her own mum who is elderly n sometimes needs care, as well as 2 children, At present she works for 3 hrs on Mondays and Fridays, and a couple on every other Wednesday. Amongst many co-morbidities I have a neurological condition which means that I can't stand for for than a few a minutes n hubbie has Alzheimers. Recently J has to miss a lot of sessions because as well as having been poorly herself her family members have been sick, culminating in 1 child getting Flue, then J did n now her other child has – I am immunologically challenged and tho vaccinated no way can I risk having J in the house which is slowly turning into a tip as I can't cope. Having discussed the matter with J we have agreed that we need another cleaner on Wednesdays so at least bathrooms, n kitchen are clean as well as upstairs toilet which hubbie doesn't allus leave as one wd like to find it. I provide gloves. I am prepared to pay you £20 per hr for 3 hrs on a Wednesday morning – it will certainly mean cleaning the upstairs loo and bathroom, probably changing hubby's sheets ,judging if bed pads need washing n maybe emptying pad bin Other jobs will depend on what J has managed to do or if J has worked or not. I am paying you for your time rather than doing a list of tasks. If interested and have any more questions please DM me with your phone number, I will want see to your passport, proof of residence n insurance, referees, n to pay you by BAC as being house bound I can't easily access cash. You will alos need to be up todate with Covid n Flu jabs We have off street parking ,and a place to keep a bike safe. Google SE154RQ to see how close we are public transport. Thank you for reading this!

You may have heard on the news or read about how the NHS already has 70% more beds than this time last year filled with peeps who have flu etc. and is expecting this number to increase over the Holiday. As you also probably know Pharmacies are having a difficult time . If you use Peckham Rye station, shop in Rye lane or Choumert Rd, are eligible for the Jabs you might like to get at Ropharms Pharmacy at 169 Rye lane, phone: 020 77322 4560 opening hrs 9-6pm Mondays to Fridays. All you need to take with you is your NHS number, no appointment necessary . It is a family run business and Mr. Austin goes out of his way to help, also have 30 good reviews on google reviews.

Def. workers who measure twice and cut once Discuss work to be done with you pointing out the pros and cons of alterative methods and materials that can be used, came up with some we hadn't thought of. Arrived on time - no idle chit chat or ciggie breaks, but got straight to work, wasalso impressed by their attention to detail. 23. FReecycle / freegle it, or if not raining put it out on pavement for someone to take and may be upcycle. We have got rid of all sorts of things that way - it's a constant surpeise seeing what vanishes. Not only free but has added bonus that you are saving on landfill.
