  1. How about marking car distances, to encourage people not to park with 3/4 of a car length between them and the nearest vehicle. A bit of a 'nudge' to use the available space more efficiently. I reckon you could get several more cars on every street in Dulwich by doing just this.
  2. By 'regulating the service', don't they just mean 'slowing every bus to the worst on the route'.

I'm not that surprised. True blue in Bromley.
  4. Oh FFS. Just keep your dog on a lead when you're in a 'dog's on lead' area. Be respectful of other people and try not to impose yourself, or your pooch on others in ways which they may not appreciate. It's pretty simple.

  7. It's OK. Dave on Twitter, has this all covered. Chuka Umunna on @SkyNews going on about letting the people decide the type of Brexit we finish up with. The people have already decided Chuka. Brexit that means Brexit. Simple.— Dave Roberts.🇬🇧 (@Bolddigger52) April 20, 2018

Why would a CPZ only effect commuters exactly?
  10. The kerb is really low. I wouldn't have thought there'd be any difficulty in pushing a buggy up it.

  12. Well done Stringvest for stepping in with those kids.
  13. .. that said, you may need to check what the minimum age is for HoVs
  14. Recommend House of Vans in Waterloo. They have free lessons on Saturday and Sunday morning and provide all the equipment (you have to book though). Also have a cinema there which shows kids films on Sunday. https://houseofvanslondon.com/

No wonder they're so brazen if that's the police (lack of) response.
  18. Totally agree with Robbin's post above.

  21. Is there a big move to 'chainification' on LL? There are a handful of chains, but that's been the case for a while now. I haven't noticed a huge increase in the number of 'big names'. There has always been a turnover in indies too as far as I can recall. Am I mistaken?

That's a shame. I must admit, I only went there the once, but it was good.

Yep, a wider traffic review is what is needed. I have no problem with road closures as part of a coherent strategy, but the problem with proposals such as Camberwell Grove and Melbourne Grove is that they were not that at all.
  24. But hold on minute? What about political correctness gone mad? Surely we're still going to hell in a handcart? Aren't we?
