Are MPs who continued to oppose EU membership following 1975 referendum 'enemies of democracy' too I wonder?

Farage has called the elected MPs who have voted in what they believe to be the best interests of the people they represent, 'enemies of democracy'. He himself tried unsuccessfully, to get elected as an MP 6 times of course.

I did email Helen Hayes about this before the vote. I'm really pleased to see that she voted for what she thought was in the best interests of her constituents and indeed, the country. If only more MPs had shown this kind of courage and done the same.

I don't get how rents on the Lane keep going up so steeply. Has there been a significant increase in footfall / demand?

Signing an online petition is sooo much easier than actually doing something though.

Fundamentally, we need to address the wider issue of societies attitudes to what it means to be a boy / man. The idea that you must be tough, aggressive.. stand your ground etc. I know it's judgmental, but I do despair at some of the 'boys will be boy's' type attitudes that prevail.

They are/were very expensive though.

Trump is odious, but I don't necessarily subscribe to the view that 'my enemy's enemy is my friend'. The fact that there are people who oppose Trump but might still be douche bags themselves is not news.

It's no coincidence that the most prominent Brexiters (Gove, Boris, Farage), all went to the types of public schools with archaic traditions rooted in a sense of a bygone Britain. Their retoric is often peppered with misguided nods at British exceptionalism.

There is no point in overthrowing Corbyn unless you're going to replace him with someone credible. Replacing one inept leader for another is pointless and disruptive and even harder to come back from.

Also, don't park in the bus lane because it slows down buses.
