A guy who has been unfaithful to his wife, got sent off for kicking out at an opponent in a World Cup final. Are you sure you don't want to re-evaluate your estimation of him?
  3. He cost Spurs what Henry cost Barcelona. Bargain.

No unfortunately its true. Its like a waking nightmare isn't it? Makes you wonder what what players like Scott Parker must be worth to West Ham.
  5. Sorry, beat you to it.
  6. West Ham have releaesed a statement stating that Avram Grant will be staying on and the O'Neil deal looks dead in the water. Karen Brady and her cronies have not covered themselves in glory during this episode.

  11. Taken from the BBC website; French left-back Patrice Evra thinks the whole nation was against unbeaten league leaders Manchester United as they fought out a goalless draw with Spurs on Sunday. "All the country was against Manchester United," he said. "Everybody wanted us to lose." I wonder why that is? Perhaps they should adopt the Millwall mantra, "no one likes us, we don't care". Poor sensitive soul. Bless.

If Jamie Redknapp, Phil Thompson, Chris Kamara, Mark Lawrenson, Garth Crooks, Sam Allardyce, Teddy Sherringham, Les Ferdinand, Ian Dowie, to name but a few can can have a go at it, then I don't see why he can't. Anyway on to more serious subjects. I see Rafael has been charged by the FA and quite right to. But what about Rooney?? Surely his foul mouthed in your face rant at the ref also should be looked at. In my view that could have easily been deemed a red. Apparently Fergie was speechless over the red for Rafael. Oh yeah? The Red for Gerrard didn't stop him putting his tuppence worth in did it. Good old Fergie.

  19. How can West Ham afford 90k a week for week? He had a stinker.
  20. Not even close
  21. Spurs v Mancs was an anti climax, and had spurs gone for it after the loony Rafael was sent off, they would have emerged victorious. As for Rafael, the first offence was a straight red for me, and no different from Gerrards a week back, so he can have no real complaints. But he responed like a Tasmanian devil to his sending off, and Rooney felt obliged to stick his oar in and got a deserved yellow for his trouble. The saddest sight of the weekend was a dejected Avram Grant at the end of the Arsenal v West Ham game. The sight of the directors sat up in the upper tier like some latter day emperors in a gladitoral arena was sickening. I just hope West Ham don't end up with Allardyce. Mind you O'Neil has exactly set the footballing world alight has he? Spent a fortune at Villa and acheived sod all.
