  3. My son, although an ardent gooner, goes to the Cottage a lot. Our neighbour is a season ticket holder who also has connections with the company that is responsible for security at the ground. He loves it there, he thinks its quaint compared to other grounds in the league.
  4. I wish - Skee-lo
  5. What's wrong with M&S simply food? :-S
  6. Chris Coleman should still be at Fulham but for the insanity of Al Fayed, the guy did well given the resources he had to play with.
  7. Well respected man - Kinks
  8. When all the music your kids like, you hate with a vengance!!

  12. I recall some years back watching a televised Oxford union debate. I can't remember exactly what the topic of debate was but it had something to do with the danger of the nuclear arms race and whether we should be more afraid of the Russians or the US having their finger on the nuclear trigger. I remember vividly that the spokesman for the US was a fairly high ranking politician and he argued that we could feel safer in the hands of the US because at least the people from the US with their finger on the trigger were democratically elected. Well that made me feel a whole lot better as you can imagine.............................NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Just secured a ticket for the game against AC Milan.............YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAA
  14. I wake up most days with a different tune in my head, today it's "Still the same" by Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, I've no idea why!!!
  15. I'm afraid of "America" because it sees itself, or at least those who run the country and unfortunately many of the populace, as the police force of the world with the right to poke its nose it to the running of other nations.Unfortunateley our leaders here have seen fit to follow its lead more often than not. There are far tooo many examples of this for me to be bothered with listing here at this time. Americans as a people are not much different to anybody else, we all have our fears, hates and loves.
  16. Newcastle are certainly not out of it, but Derby are doomed I think Fulham will go. It will be a scrap between 3 or 4 clubs at the foot of the table currently. I wnet last night and if we'd had our shooting boots on we could have had a hatful, and Brad Friedel performed heroicly in the Blackburn goal. Bentley was largely anonymous thanks to a great performance from Clichy. Still a long way to go though, but feeling good at the moment.

Perhaps it is, but I agree with it for all the reasons previously given by various forumites.
  19. Just picked this up from the BBC website regarding Man Ure defeat yesterday and after reading it I thought "Come again?" "We believe the team was affected by international call-ups," said Queiroz. "But talking about that would be an excuse. It was not our day. We didn't play well and need to accept that So either your team were or weren't fatigued, not forgetting that most premiership teams had players involved in mid week internationals and nobody else chose to mention as far as I know.
