  1. British are a bunch of thieving bastards and no mistake!!! I pay them ?35 to maintain my central heating and my combi boiler. I've had to call them out a couple of times in the last few months and have been charged an additional ?89 for a part to repair my boiler and another ?38 for a carbon monoxide detector, which I didn't ask them to supply, but apparently it is a legal requirement to have one. I wasn't given a choice, my wife was at home when all of this took place so I will be batting this back to them and asking them why I wasn't consulted first. I thought my ?35 covered everyting including parts and labour, clearly this is not the case!!! Gits.
  2. The Italians seem to go down clutching a leg everytime we were about to break and for some reason instead of playing on we kicked the ball into touch!!! Far too gentlemanly and sporting for my liking!!!
  3. From his dear mama, who is a true English Rose.
  4. For me, award shows like this seem to fly in the face of what rock/pop music is supposed to be about i.e. anti establishment, rebellion etc. which is why I hate them, they're so "Hollywood".
  5. My son is in Barcelona at the moment and they were watching the Celtic game and then the Arse game, I called him from the Emirates and he said that they all booed loudly when Henry scored, which apparently didn't go down well with the locals, especailly as they were wearing Arsenal home shirts. He's a lad, my boy. ;-)
  6. We had a hatful of chnaces to win this game at a canter, it will be hard in Italy, but we've done it before and not too long ago. I remember a famous 5-1 victory when Inter had beaten us 3-0 at home.
  7. Right, I'm off to see the Arse. Exits stage left whistling "wish me luck as you wave me goodbye".
  8. Up for the down stroke - Fred Wesley

Well done pool, SG's goal was a corker.
  14. Keef, I'd love you to turn Inter over, and given the tie is at Anfiled anything is possible. I hope I'm wrong about my predicition, but hey, what the hell do I know, look at what I predicted for us on Saturday!!!
  15. I certainly don't profess to be an expert in this particular field, but the argument put forward by those against bottled water, is the carbon footprint made on the planet in transporting, bottling, and distributing the stuff, which sounds very credible to me anyway. Of course others may produce evidence to the contrary which is equally compelling but I've yet to hear it.
  16. Can you dig it? - Mock Turtles
  17. I've never understood why we need bottled water in this country and refuse to buy the stuff, not because of environmental concerns I hasten to add, but because I think it's stupid to pay for something I already pay the local water board for on an annual basis, and don't think bottled water tastes any different or for that matter any better than the stuff that comes out of the tap. Your turn ladies and gents. Edited because of my rubbish spelling!!!
  18. Can you see me - Roy Ayers
  19. After Saturdays debacle I'm reluctant to predict scores but will commit to the following Liverpool - Inter Milan - Away win Olympiakos - Chelsea - Away win Arsenal - AC Milan - Home win Celtic - Barcelona - Away win Lyon - Man Utd - Away win

  21. Moonlight Mile - Rolling Stones
  22. As a result of family commitments and illness I've not been able to post anything at all over the last few days. I've no complaints at all about the outcome of saturdays result. We were very, very poor, Eboue was his usual self, Wenger made it clear before the game the FA cup was not on his list of priorities, but we fans rate it very highly especailly when we are playing our major rival. We made exactly the same mistake when we palyed spurs in the Carling Cup, Wenger might not take it seriously but fans do. Nonetheless, well done to Man Ure. We can do no more but focus on the next game. At least we went out playing against a premiership side, although that is scant consolation.
