She's a rich girl, she don't try to hide it, she's got diamonds on the soles of her shoes. He's a poor boy empty as a pocket witth nothing to lose. ( The brilliant Paul Simon) -

Regrettably the tendency to reward apathy and mediocrity is a widespread practice across the UK. Certainly has been since I satrted working as a callow 16 year old back in 1973. Don't let the bastards grind you down!! -

Fair play, but we should have learnt our lesson after the Reyes episode. Didn't he moan about the weather, missed his mums cooking, wanted to play for Real (look were that got him, the ungrateful git!!)

Of course I remember it, I also remember that the 5 we stuck past you helped condemnd you to relegation and that most loyal of Leeds servants, Smith promptly jumped ship. What a true "white Rose" yorkshire man he turned out to be despite his pledges of loyality. As Jim Royle would say "Loyalty, my arse!!"

I loved this band in my teens, and was lucky enough to catch them live in 1974 at the Lewisham Odeon (RIP) They were a treat live, they weren't the tightest band in the world, but they made you feel good!!! Weird how we share a great taste in music, but are poles apart on the football front!! (Only joshing!!!!)
