  1. Will return it to HSBC if I go that direction. Or contact me if this is yours!
  2. I know, after scouring every pavement for weeks and finding nothing I eventually caved and bought some from B&Q especially just to get the ball rolling!! ;p Another 50 hidden today, hope they don?t all get taken home... Message me if you?d like a bagful of rocks to decorate, am more than happy to share the joy!!
  3. More rocks being added this weekend! Have you found any yet?? Or better yet, have you added your own?
  4. As you walk around Peckham Rye Park you may start finding small painted rocks about the place. Welcome to Peckham Rocks! You may have heard of the latest craze in decorating and hiding rocks around your local community. And so now to Peckham! Decorate some rocks, varnish them, and then take a walk around Peckham Rye Park hiding them and looking for others. When you find one, take a photo, upload it on the facebook page, and then hide it somewhere else for someone else to find. Happy stone hunting! Tip: Write Peckham Rocks and your name on the back so that people can trace where they are from should they start to migrate further afield.
  5. We have a double bed and mattress that we'd like someone to take to my parent's house in Cambridge. Anyone interested and how much would you charge? Flexible on dates for now.
  6. Hi. We need a double bed driven up to Cambridge. Is that something you could do?
  7. Hiring was ?145 for the long weekend with delivery, set-up and collection. (The same one to buy was over ?2,000). Definitely a great treat for a special occasion poppydavidson!
  8. I rented a hot tub for the weekend for my husband's birthday and it was fantastic. If you're looking to treat yourself or someone special, I'd really recommend it. Chris was friendly and professional - he brings everything you need and sets it all up for you. His 'weekend' deal goes Thursday to Tuesday (or Wednesday to Monday I think) so we really made the most of five days of bubbly fun. If you're tempted, have a look on southeasthottubs.co.uk and tell him hi from Katherine!
  9. I had my second six months ago in the pool in a box which was really great. I think ut must have been the mini one (no seat) but plenty big enough. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Also more than happy to do that coffee. K
  10. Oh no! I had this from 22weeks and it's absolute agony, I really feel your pain. I found that neither physio nor painkillers helped at all either. After I'd had my baby I did meet a local osteopath from Crystal Palace who seemed very knowledgeable on the subject and said he could definitely help in case it happened next time. I'm afraid I don't have his details, but definitely worth phoning a few places and seeing if they can help. Unfortunately the best thing really is to rest as much as possible, impossible with a toddler, I know! Presumably you're using a plastic bag on your seats and car seat so as to be able to swizzle easier; lying on your side and pushing up from lying down; keeping your legs together as much as possible etc? Ask family and friends for lots of help - really bad cases have to use wheelchairs which you definitely want to avoid. I guess the small consolation is that it should vastly improve almost as soon as you give birth, so only two more weeks - hang in there, and good luck!
  11. Sorry fl0wer! It seems I left the iPad where little fingers could tap and swipe and leave half messages... Oops! ;) Was reading this thread with interest as I have a 2yr old girl and am expecting again and am also in shock/ denial that it's a boy! For me its not bad memories/ experiences, it's just I have always assumed I would have two girls and (stupidly) never considered anything else! Wanted to see what people said about having one of each. Nice that there are some really positive messages out there :) Good luck hellosailor, hope you have the amazing time with your children that you deserve.

  13. I'm designing the new secondary school in Swanage. Very exciting. And a lovely place to go for site meetings!! Would be more than happy to ask the school team for recommendations of places to stay if you haven't found somewhere?
  14. The Greenwich pool is open and has slides (at the Arches). Also the softplay there is fab!
  15. How about rubber, cork or bamboo flooring? All thin enough where they can be laid over your existing floor finish and taken up in a threshold to avoid trip hazard. Plenty of manufacturers to choose from, but as an example: http://www.ukflooringdirect.co.uk/Bamboo.htm For a chequer effect you could use a vinyl/ linoleum? Not the same, I know, but on the up-side it's warmer than tiles underfoot and easy to clean. All sorts of colours and patterns available: http://www.forbo-flooring.co.uk/For-Your-Home/Products/Linoleum/Marmoleum-design-elements/ You may be able to find the original tiles at a reclamation yard? They will all send samples for material choice and colour if you phone them. Have fun!
