As there are so many of us that cycle in, maybe we should try a way to distinguish who we (i.e. East Dulwich forum readers) are- like tying a yellow ribbon on our bikes (very naff I know)

I started cycling last March and haven?t looked back. I used to work by London Bridge, but now work by Liverpool Street. I cross via Tower Bridge (via Surrey Canal). Although it is closer to cross via London Bridge, there are so many pedestrians (that I think we can agree all cyclist dread), that I find that rout safer. A great Website to check out is http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/ . You can calculate the lenght of your route

I was actually at my favorite Italian Restaurant ? Donna Margarita in Clapham, on Friday. The owner mentioned that he is looking to open a new restaurant and is looking around Lordship Lane. If anyone know any good premises, please contact the restaurant. http://www.donna-margherita.com

I don?t think it is unreasonable for me to ask for the weight in Kilo, just as I think a old lady who don?t know the metric system is entitled to know the weight in pound. My argument is not what is the correct way of measuring thing, merely that a shop that sells things by the weight should be able to accommodate both. It is after all what they do for a living.

I think the place is horrid. Wanted to purchase a paper but asked nicely if I can feel the thickness (had clean hands). Was told I had to purchased if first. -
I used to live in Hong Kong, and I can tell you that the Dim Sum in Dragon Castle ? (Elephant &Catle) is outstanding. I think it is even better than the one you get at Hakkasan The dinner menu is also very good- but unfortunately a bit on the pricy side.

It all went downhill because we did not get a tube! It is also fascinating to see how the area that is now Burgess Park was full of houses. Apparently it was a lovely place but was levelled during the blitz.
