  1. Went past that part of the park this morning.. all gone, just the anticipated residue remaining.
  2. I have a couple of HP printers that either fail to load paper, or give paper jams. I wondered if anyone can recommend a cheap somebody to service the printers, basically a good clean in the SE22 area.. If interested HP Laserjet 4L (paper jamming) HP Colour Laserjet CP1510n (Paper jam - google/youtube reveals sensor needs cleaning) HP Officejet 6500 (E709n) paper feed roller doesn't grip. Thanks Ben
  3. I am trying to organise my daughters 10th birthday party and wondered if anyone can recommend a Roller Disco they know of or have used before. thanks Ben
  4. should be called WEEEcycling then ;-) On a more serious note, I take everything to the Old Kent Road one, only thing to add is that they have now introduced proof of address to make sure you are from Southwark, so worth taking something with you.
  5. What do you need them for as there are various areas of law ?
  6. We use Kenya, 07727 482268, she may be able to help you. Ben
  7. So adding just an idea i am now using. I had my vespa nicked but found the same day... i have since bought a "Tile" and stuck it on the bike. Just in case. Its not a GPS tracker, but seems a clever and cheap idea. Only one way to find out I suppose. http://www.thetileapp.com anyway thought I'd share.
  8. i had my vespa nicked recently. Mine was found that same day as they hadn't started it. I'm bit further up the forest hill road though. now i have added one of these... http://www.thetileapp.com seems like a good idea. i meant to stick it in the other thread about stolen scooters i've been reading about today. in fact i will stick it in... good luck in finding it. will keep my eyes open.
  9. Maybe try the leave him for 1 minute then come back, leave for 2 mins come back, then 3, then 5, then 10 or so. Lets him know you are coming back. I would say whatever you do though, don't drop the guard and let them into your bed. Make sure everything is done in their bedroom and their bed. I'm not sure about the controlled crying, as its comfort being sought. Best of Luck with it... of course it may simply be just a phase as well..
  10. we tried yoobi last saturday and thought it wasn't bad though.
  11. Actually on the theme of Ceramics Cafe... This is quite fun, especially if raining.. http://www.makespeoplehappy.co.uk/about.php?section=about Its down by ED Train station. The small shop seems to stretch and stretch all the way down.
  12. phew i read, looking for small stud in a bedroom ;-)
  13. http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?30,823982 We have used Tina, and I was surprised about one of the posts mentioned here. However I would add, we never had any issues with her and she was very nice. Just shows you never really can tell. I would still recommend her though ...I think ;-) Ben
  14. I can recommend Malcom at Gothic Gates [email protected] he did our railings at the front of our house. He is in fact doing work at Olympia this week, so he may be around.
  15. If you have mice, you are unlikely to be able to get rid of them long term. You may kill off a mouse or even a family of mice, but they will come back. We had mice when we moved in, however we had a cat. Now no mice, it really is that simple. I like the suggestion of borrowing things that have cat smells on as mice do smell them. So maybe borrow some used cat bedding and stick it near the areas you know the mice are. I'd really go for the borrow a cat that catches for a while. Other than that you are stuck. Sorry, its simple really. Mice can get through the tiniest holes, so you'll never plug them. Good luck and let us know what luck you get / or not.
  16. If anyone is still interested, I got ours from here, they are re-cast from originals, rather than repro. http://www.periodhousestore.co.uk/cast-iron-radiators.html
  17. I cycle to work near aldgate from top of peckham rye park, I go, nunhead, down the over old kent road, nobody should ever have to cycle on that road, then past millwall and onto jamaica road. I actually turn right and go over tower bridge, but i've left your destination in there. http://goo.gl/3f4BQk Ben
  18. pilgrimpayne.co.uk They have saved us seemingly almost every new years day ! We have had vomit on sofas and plenty of red wine on a persian rug. They are simply superb. I'd highly recommend. B
  19. whoops. might be worth sticking a Tile on it.. check out thetileapp.com pretty cool
  20. They aren't local, but I have used STC in the past to install various things. They are very helpful. http://www.stcltd.co.uk/
  21. I think its a stray, its not in the best condition, we used to see it a lot on Mundania Road, so guess its moved away a little.
