  1. Just completed an online session with Simone and can't stop smiling. I was wary of signing up as I wasn't sure it would be as good as training in person but it was great! I have my own pads and gloves so asked my husband to hold for me and he had as much fun as I did. I was in a hideous mood before the session. Hubby and I were barely speaking. Now we are smiling and chatting. Full body and mind workout. All classes booked in my diary - Simone's classes are as awesome online as in person!
  2. Hi, We are looking to install one or two cycle hoops, like the ones installed on pavements, in parks etc, in front of our house. We are looking to set them into concrete. Anyone had something similar done to any recommendation for who can do the work?
  3. If you want to learn how to punch pads and also how to hold pads for a full body workout then sign up today! I started training with Simone when my youngest was 5 months old. Her enthusiasm is contagious. Her technique guidance even managed to navigate my sleep deprived baby brain!! A year on and I still can't get enough of her sessions. Be warned though... this trainer has a habit of making people believe in themselves!! No hesitation is recommending her sessions!
  4. Another vote for Simone at Mind over matter boxing. I've been training with her for a year and am in The best shape physically, and mentally, I have been in in years, maybe ever. Over 170 5* reviews too :-) http://www.mindovermatterboxing.co.uk
  5. I really recommend Simone's mummy and baby boxing sessions at Dulwich Hamlet FC (Mind over Matter boxing). Great work out and babies love watching what you're doing :-) Simone is really approachable and enthusiatic, it's been so good for my mind as well as my body :-) Also look up Takes a Village at Lordship Pub on Mondays. Started as London Slings Library but now a whole host of social stuff as well as a sling library.
  6. The big ommissiion in the invitation information is of they are still planning to build the new stadium on the MOL like last time
  7. The website says this "Online tickets for our Boxing Day game against Eastbourne Borough have now SOLD OUT Tickets will be on sale from the Club Bar from 5pm-11pm Monday to Thursday this week. "
  8. solar Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > It's been hit again! .... or not been fixed since the last time?
  9. The other guy did a terrible job on my son's hair. I text Ahmed to complain. He fixed it the only way he could by shaving it shorter. My son won't be sitting for "not-Ahned" again.
  10. He did save me! 20 mins after he arrived my machine was working again! Never have I been so happy to have to listen to my washing machine running. Planning to book him to come and look at our oven that is not happy having found out he can also service that.
  11. Have tried to call Steve and sent him a text... let's hope he can save me!
  12. If the first game is Sunday 11th does that mean the fences outside the ground are going to be coming down does anyone know?
  13. What is also concerning is I went to collect one parcel and came away with two... the second should have been delivered last Wednesday. It's not a missed delivery because it would have fitted through the letter box, they didn't attempt it. The people at the sorting office were lovely but the queue was half way up the ramp on a Tuesday morning at 820am!
  14. In case it helps anyone apparently since 7 October the Peckham office now opens 11-3 on a Sunday. (Currently stood in a long queue there)
  15. Given the bottle neck they've created on the pavement they surely have to put some safety measures (railings next to parking bay for example) in place.
  16. I don't really understand why the actual post person for the areas has changed. Did they get made redundant? Our postie used to know where they could leave parcels for us (now they have a "safe place" box to tick on the card) and it says on our front door where to leave deliveries if there's no answer... but they are never left anymore.
  17. Yay re the club coming home but boo re housing plans... the travel infrastructure cannot support another 200 homes. Grrrr
  18. Hopefully they will also be putting a new cash point in too.
  19. We get post every other day if we are lucky. No doubt the package of new swimwear for the kids that should have been here by now will arrive after we leave for holiday tomorrow. Rubbish service. Also have items to send back to Amazon that have to be taken back to a royal. All delivery office to send (?!) and just can't face the faf of going to Peckham. How did they think this was a good idea?!
  20. That junction is now dangerous. My son stopped at the road to wait for me and almost got squashed by a lorry turning left as it's wheels cut across the corner of the pavement because they haven't left enough cleaeance. That coupled with a lorry bay taking up two thirds of the original path is a very poorly conceived (or executed) plan.
  21. Is Southwark not pursuing a CPO and granting Meadow a lease for the astroturf area a good thing? Will.they not just p*** residents off again by allowing inconsiderate events and again look to move the stadium and build flats? Especially after Southwark are busy actually investing in making the Green area more accessible etc.
  22. Any update to your chase about the fences next to DHFC? Also how did narrowing the footpath out the front of the new M&S East Dulwich station get approved?! One of the busiest stretches of pavement in rush hour is now less than half it's original depth!
  23. They have put a "diversion" in... they want you to cross the road to the cherry tree and then walk along that side of the road and use the crossing
  24. The loading bay is being put in at the moment (it's a pain having the path in front of ED station closed for so long while these flats go up!). That pavement is so busy everytime a train comes in from central London at rush hour... it seems crazy to half the depth of it but I guess they have no choice. If the lorries park up the side road they run the risk of a corner being taken off again by the looks of it
  25. Hi James, Please could you advise if there is anyone to contact for an update re the metal fencing running alongside Dulwich Hamlet? Schools are due to go back shortly and the nights are getting darker. It is going to be even more of a nightmare squishing cyclists and pedestrians together on dimly lit path.
