Where is the Gardens? i dont really know peckham.

Hi everyone, We would have liked to go today with Jack but my husband is still on paternity leave so we are trying to take advantage of the time as much as we can before he gets back to work. We will defenitely be around with little J next week. Have a nice afternoon! Paula

Hi everyone! I'm very happy to say I won't be able to go today - not because I don't want to (i love it!) - because I have little Jack with me. Yes, he came on Saturday morning after a long night of labour between 10pm and 8am. I can't believe i did it and without the epidural because there wasn't any time. I have stitches at the moment which is not very nice but everything went well. Unfortunately, Jack is not latching on as he just doesn't open his mouth. Midwives have said he's got something called tongue tied (hte bit of skin under our tongues that should be long is very short in him). Anyway, he will get better i'm sure...at the moment i'm experiencing the wonders of motherhood (day 3, boobs that sort of hurt, lovely stitches and a wonderful husband and baby!) See you all soon... Hi Emma and Kirsten, We met yesterday with Lucinda (baby Bea), Emma (with Lily) and Alex (with Joshua), and me with bump (i'm due tomorrow). We will defenitely welcome you if you come around next Tuesday. I'm sure i'll still be around as I think my baby will come late! xxxx Paula

Lovely to see you yesterday Emma, Lucinda and Alex! It was very nice to see how big Bea and Lily are these days and to meet little Joshua. Well, nothing has happened to me yet and my due date is tomorrow. I'm very relaxed now watching Brothers & Sisters and I'll bake a nice cake before picking my lovely husband from the station (one of the last times I will be able to do that). Hello!!! No signs of baby yet but well...I still have another week...I'm due on 24th! And something tells me this little man will be late... Anyway, I enjoy my last days.. So, when are we meeting then? Mornings or afternoons, and what days? I can do mornings except for tomorrow morning and Tuesday afternoon (dentist)..but I'm open to suggestions for places and times! I really want to meet the new babies so hopefully nothing will get in my way, unless the little one decides to come :) See you all soon!!! Pau xxxx

I watched OBEM for three seconds and it was enough to put me off. I'm in my last week of pregnancy and to be honest, the last thing I want is to live the birth before experiencing it myself. Probably because I'm terrified!!! :(

Morning suits me as well! 10.30 / 11.00 is fine... 3pm has become a bit of an issue as my midwives are seeing me around 3.30/4pm once a week now. Anyway, hope I can see you all soon before little boy arrives. Pau xx

Hi all, Did you meet up yesterday in the end? I would have loved to go but I needed to rest. Today is just like any other normal day and I think it will be better as I managed to rest. The new places sound like a good idea...but isn't Peckham a bit difficult to find parking? There is always the option of Dulwich Village, which is sooo relaxing - but this is just my view! Oh I can't wait to meet my baby boy! But I have to be honest...I'm a bit scared now that I have just days left...I don't want to be scared..but I am :-$ Anyway, I will watch a film now...Pretty Woman - ages since I last watched it. Hi everyone, I'm not sure either if I will be able to make it today as I have been having strong pains last night and have no idea if this is a good sign or not. So i have to check today and see what is going on. I'm on week 38 and baby's due is 24th but I doubt he will come in time...oh lord!
