  5. >This is a genuine question. Please educate me. I strive for knowledge.< I'm sure the good folk of ED will forgive any error on my part Spelling and grammar aside, the message is still crystal clear Yr stll a prz knb wth a gn (see, even in text speak it still scans)
  6. Carter My posts are loaded with irony & anyone with a half sense of the world can grasp that Whereas yours are just plain loaded with anger, belligerence and in this case; 12 bore shotgun cartridges As Alan medic said : >I think what pissed some people off if the fact you were so amazed your neighbours got concerned that you were out in your garden with a firearm< And for that alone I think you're a prize knob I'm wholeheartedly sure that many will agree with me on this one. I also suspect that i'm not the first to level that one at you either (directly, not behind your back - like) Nette
  7. >There are some deeply unpleasant people on this forum. Deeply unpleasant.< Really ? And what do you find so unpleasant. Having your views challenged, having to deal with the fact that people disagree with your whole gun stance. Having people stand up to you when you clearly like to dismiss them or shout them down. Having someone pull you up about your language and tone on your other threads. Your matter of factness challenged & the way you so easily disregard the feelings of others, should their stance not please you Yes, it must be unpleasant but it's not wrong. In fact I applaud it You're a bit of a knob it would seem A knob with a gun, who can't bear to be challenged Bravo !
  8. I went to the one in Canterbury last wek No better or worse than any other WGGMA experience i've had. Quick, fresh, efficient service. But their arc has passed, ffs my brother-in-law even goes there now Blah blah Nuff said Nette
  9. It won't happen Wrong demograph-Wrong location-Wrong everything (insert sad face) They set up in areas that have a broader footfall, more business and recreational/destination/tourists/casual walk-ins Usually in areas like Wimbledon, Putney, Richmond, Soho, Camden & Bluewater. East Dulwich ain't on their radar & can join the queue behind wannabee Clapham, Northcote Road, Balham and such likes However, IF they landed here, in a fantasy retail spaceship - along with Waitrose, M&S & Nando's, Greggs... then of course...la la laa I'd go on occasions, to eat and have my placemat scribbled on Why not ! Nette

  11. Are you sure this isn't a bad dream Mic ? And anyway, how could they pooooossibly bring that ol' stuff up to date Sue Ellen would be in rehab for a start (she's still in it isn't she) & JR would be at an equal right tribunal in no time For some reason i've got Dallas crossed with Dukes of hazard in my head Weird I know
  12. Myka looks v nice for the money (thumbs up icon) The Orange Diva as a comparison, is a bit weird looking (this all sounds like code)
  13. sheilarose Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The Duck of Edinburgh Good one can you do that ? (Posted by the-e-dealer August 30, 01:34PM) Hmmmmmm..... Technically NO As 2 letters change >Take a known person, band or celebrity & make one letter change< But it is rather clever (& i'm sure sheliarose won't be making a habit of it) Anyway, how about Kunt Cobain ?
  14. Spent yesterday afternoon and today trimming my front bush I can't bear it all overgrown. So now it's all neat, with a mowhawk/fin effect down the middle And in that very middle class way, I feel i've achieved something Nette
  15. Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Owen looking more and more likely, and I wouldn't > mind, but how many games would he actually manage? Cards or football ?

  21. Costco in Croydon if you have a card (?25 per year) I had pork belly & ribs from there & they were perfect. Big catering size packs and very well priced Or Smithfield starts retailing in the public hall at 10pm I heard on the radio last week ( due to the congestion charge their hours have changed) Or Buntings on Peckham Road is excellent Lastly, don't listen to Fox. He knows nothing about meat with comments like that Enjoy Nette
  22. mike pm me your e-mail I know the Archeologist who oversees the finds in The City of London and else where That period is her special interest (though there's other specialists on her team) I'll pass your question on by e-mail if you like Nette
  23. Mick Mac Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > And I don't think he's Hewitt's boy. If he was > Hewitt would probably be dead in a car crash by > now. Agree I hate that whole Hewitt smear Leave the man alone, he's doing his stuff in private (Strip Billiards - very classy) And so fekkin what I heard the press carping on on newsnight about post Levisson Personally, I like the fact that shite isn't plastered across every schlock news paper on Sunday Long may that continue Like I said B3 Shame on you (reading that newspaper)
  24. Move up my way rotters Ever tried riding up to Sydenham hill on a fixie ? The road is littered with the corpses of those who've tried
