Their fans were proper thugs though.

Chelsea weren't a good team but they were choirboys compared to Bremner and his thugs.

the-e-dealer Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Pretending to use William Rose? How? I'd guess spending half an hour in the queue, waving to ones friends and neighbours, then, just as you're about to cross the threshold, pretending to have forgotten something and saying "Oops!" and leaving. This tactic can backfire if one fails to notice there is no queue. Rumour has it that ED's famous 'faux-proles' (see under 'Devil'-ish) adopt the same ploy outside the Post Office on a Thursday morning - pretending to be queuing to cash dole cheques.

Well it's not the fault of Thames Water - yes I know they made an operating profit of ?600million last year and I know they've just put prices up 6.75% and I know they are losing 673million litres a day in leaks and have just imposed a hosepipe ban punishable with ?1000 fines but it isn't their fault and it would be typical of you leftie liberal cardigan-wearing bath-taking garden-watering car-washing veggie fascists to suggest that it was. You lot just hate a successful business don't you?* *sponsored by Kemble Water Ltd.

Not huge breasts no but lots of meat on the legs - but if you really can't taste the difference then you'd be wasting your money on anything other than the cheapest supermarket fowl. Or Spam. Spam's good.

Their Fairtrade Bananas, Chocolate etc are good value, the bread selection is getting better and two bottles of Spitfire for ?3 is okay with me. Fruit & Veg - variable depending on when you go. Pork, seafood/fish, definitely not. @Foxy - try a 'Label Anglais' chicken from Sparkes on NorthX Rd market - they taste the way a chicken should.

I have been outside commissioned a specialist research unit and checked - and it is definitely the wrong kind of water. The drought will officially be ended when the water table is at knee level.

To do that they are going to have to be very careful tonight against the (ahem) trickery of Real and Ronaldo as seven Bayern players are already on a yellow.

Can only repeat what I said when Chelsea beat Napoli - Fair play - good game - great win. Delighted for Di Matteo (and for Torres) and can't help but be pleased Terry is going to miss the final - I think it may actually help them (c/f Roy Keane in '99).

At least it's gone to the last day (thanks to Reid and Collison) and although I can't see Coventry beating So'ton whatever else happens it's important to still be winning.

Indeed - carrying a whole team like that is an amazing acheivement - gooners must be praying he signs a new contract in the three days between their last game and RVP reporting for Holland. Now THAT's what you call squeaky bum time...
