Now I'm not one to point fingers quids but just remember - if Matty Taylor scores in the second half to take the lead you must NOT stare at the Wembley concrete - it'll only bring more bad luck...
-
Not to mention the courts being clogged up with all those people who stuck two fingers up to Seb Coe & Co and used the Zil Lanes anyway and then appealed their fines... Anyone know if cyclists are still banned from these lanes? If so how will that be policed? Can't see the Met (much less the plod bussed in from the sticks) chasing cyclists through London's side streets to issue a fine when they're meant to be on anti-terrorist duty.

Liverpool have been given permission by Wigan to talk to Martinez...

Indeed - big fan of Emily's; friendliness personified and if you ring beforehand he'll even fry to order so you don't have to wait around. -
Well, today by wearing "blue suede shoes and red socks" and (according to the nice lady from the Compton Cricket Club, Calif. USA) by being a member of the Cripps.

Just don't mention Foie Fucking Gras - that makes M&S look like a footnote.

I have taken the thrust of this thread to heart (albeit at an oblique angle) and have started to kick the ankles of people who do not say thankyou (Audibly FFS! and no, a smile is NOT enough!) when I move aside to allow them to pass on a narrow pavement/supermarket aisle. It's for their own good. I shall be attending church on Sunday for the first time in decades so I can extend my work. It is taking up rather a lot of my time. -
Great to have TMS back in my ear - just a shame, although I've enjoyed a lot of the IPL, that WI have fine players in India who should still be playing for their test team. Gayle just scored 128 off 62b with 13 sixes (yes, dlf maximums...) and is top scorer in the IPL - money talks. Chanderpaul holding them together atm.

too much ambling and rambling - makes me feel seasick - and that gorgeous pebble bed aint helping. *retires to work out how to integrate dishwasher into fridge

Budleigh Salterton - to exercise the dogs.

"going forward" "Shit, what's the point of getting out of bed, today's gonna suck just like it always do" (Blues guy thinking)

Carroll obviously in for set pieces in place of Crouch - don't know if he'll feature much after Rooney returns unless he plays really well.. Surprised Joe Cole didn't get a call from the man who signed him for Liverpool, but maybe that's why - even though he's not had a bad season in France... (Harry would have picked him)... surely a better stand-by than Henderson?

Good to see the Ox get called up - mistake taking Terry - he will try and boss things as though he's still captain which could be disastrous for morale (again) and push Gerrard back into his normal England shell. Oh, and he's a racist c*nt.

If all else fails the ED-Pony-Express will have to be re-convened (all pigeons, well behaved dogs and idlers to meet at Curry Cabin, cleft sticks at the ready). -
The EDF is to become a Facebook/Google franchise - all your past posts will be declared the property of the new EDFB. They will be examined and used for commercial activity wherever appropriate - the rest will be source material for a Waitrose direct marketing campaign. ETA: Gang Activity, Clown Activity, Lost Cat, Quiet Room and HonaloochieB are now all registered trademarks... as is ETA:

Or did they mean to use an OFFICES TO LET sign but had run out?

nothing wrong with an aerosol can - been using Noxzema menthol for years now, and I'll stick to my gillette multiblade swissarmyknife razor as I can't cut myself with it no matter how tired or hung over I am.

@Atticus - nope. Moved to ED in 2006 but didn't see/come across this forum until late 2010 and joined it in January 2011. A general point occurs re all this parking malarkey. Surely if the customers that M&S are supposed to draw are going to drive most will say to themselves "Nah, we'll never find a bloody place to park. Sod it, let's go to Sainsburys (or somewhere else) instead". I mean, you can't get a quart into a pint pot etc., so all those would-be M&S customers who trawl down here in their motors will prowl the streets looking for a space, realise it's like trying to park on Brighton Seafront on a Bank Holiday and give it up as a bad job never to return. Sounds more to me as though M&S are hoping to sell a shed load of ready meals to pedestrians/commuters - the tired masses who pour out of ED station and up LL of an evening feeling too tired to slice an onion and in need of some Singapore Noodles and a glass of Riesling.

never-ending shenanigans at dulwich baths

Congratulations to the managerial IDIOT who managed to ruin the General Swim for everyone today by squeezing the available space down to a single narrow lane running only two thirds of the length of the pool. Impossible to pass anyone without touching/colliding. And all so the aquarobics CLASS (run at a nice fat profit for FUSION) could have more space. Here's an idea for this befuddled woman who obviously couldn't manage a piss-up in a puddle - maybe there should be less people in the class if half the pool isn't big enough for them?!? Nice to see the brand new "From May 2012" timetable already screwed. Joined the queue of annoyed and frustrated punters at the desk to get my money back. -

Iceland were the first supermarket chain to ban genetically modified foods - and to remove chemical colourants from its fresh egg range.
